:item9: Spear Pillar :item9:
February 29, 2008: Well, it's official. The update for this magnificent stage has finally appeared on the Dojo!!. And with that, I'll throw in screenshots and info from the update so all of it is conveniently placed in this thread. Can't wait to play on this stage!

:item9: The Stage :item9:
Ever played Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl? If so, you can probably tell the location this stage is based off of. Or, at least I hope you do. This is the Spear Pillar with a few tweaks to it. To start off, Pokémon will appear that have certain effects on the stage, and some more just for little cameo appearances. It consists of two main floors: a lower floor which is an underground cave and tunnel mix with glowing, greenish crystals embedded into its earthy ground, and an upper floor which is the remains of surely a once great temple or shrine (not much is known about the Spear Pillar). On the upper floor you will find two platforms that slowly move up and down, one on the left and one on the right. This floor is where the Pokémon appear and get active with the stage, doing things like breaking off parts of the stage and more which can be read about in the Pokémon section. This sure looks like a great stage, and I'm sure everyone will end up loving it!
To unlock this stage, you have to complete Event 25: The Aura Is With Me.

:item9: The Pokémon :item9:
Dialga #483
Dialga is the legendary Pokémon exclusive to Pokémon Diamond known for its power to control time. If you have seen any videos of the Spear Pillar, then you know that Dialga obviously appears on the pedestal right in the middle of the Spear Pillar stage. An indicator of Dialga's appearance is that the background of the stage will have a bluish tint. Watch the videos posted here to see Dialga in action!
For those that don't know who Dialga is or what it looks like, here you go.

Palkia #484
Palkia is the legendary Pokémon exclusive to Pokémon Pearl known for its ability to distort space. If you have seen any videos of the Spear Pillar, then you know that Palkia obviously appears on the pedestal right in the middle of the Spear Pillar stage. An indicator of Palkia's appearance is that the background of the stage will have a purplish tint. Watch the videos posted here to see Palkia in action!
For those that don't know who Palkia is or what it looks like, here you go.

Uxie #480
I spotted something of interest in a video featuring the Spear Pillar stage where at 1:47, after Palkia tilts the stage, something appears to the right of Palkia (our left), is floating, and seems to have a tail and a yellow head. It's none other than the legendary Pokémon, Uxie! Don't believe me? Take a look for yourself!

Azelf #482
Credit goes to plasmatorture for uploading this video, presented below , to his very own YouTube account and pointing out that at 2:30 Azelf appears at the same position Uxie did. Thanks for the video plasmatorture!

Mesprit #481
Thanks for the screenshot Razer_Reds, but I found a video with Mesprit in motion! It can be seen teleporting to our left of Dialga and then still flying to the left. Mesprit appears at 1:33, right after Dialga fires a column of energy down on the left, moving platform.

Cresselia #488
What?! Cresselia?! Could it be?! It's true! Here's a video of Cresselia center stage where Dialga and Palkia have only been known to show up on!

Thanks to this donation by Darkpaladin_of_Chaos, everyone can watch this video featuring Cresselia and different angles of the stage! The camera moves around because the player is watching a replay of a brawl he had before. Enjoy!

For those that don't know who Cresselia is or what she looks like, here you go.
Known Effects:
1. Cresselia summons a crescent shaped blade of psychic energy that is white in color and flies around the stage, very much like a boomerang, while spinning quickly. It homes in on the players, can hit multiple players before disappearing, and can pass through any part of the stage. It disappears after a short period of time (my estimate is around 10 seconds) or until it is lead out of the stage and out of effect due to its need to take time and slow down before changing direction. It inflicts 20% damage to whomever it has impact with. This attack is believed to be Psycho Cut.
2. Cresselia creates a swirling mass with the appearance of wind over the stage parallel to herself, and the same energy blades as before shoot out of it. However, rather than flying about the stage like a boomerang, it merely shoots out straight, but can change the direction it shoots out straight in. The blades do not reach past the first floor, so anyone in the underground cave floor will be safe. This process of firing blades of energy continues until 10 blades have been shot. Each blades inflicts 15% damage upon being hit. This attack is believed to be another variation of Psycho Cut.

:item9: The Music :item9:
I've made this little section here to give information about what songs play at the Spear Pillar stage and other songs from the Pokémon series in Brawl that could possibly be in it.
Confirmed
Here we have this awesome song which was remixed for Brawl, recognized as the battle music when facing Dialga in Pokémon Diamond and Palkia in Pokémon Pearl, and is the main theme of the Spear Pillar stage!

This is the very catchy tune that plays when fighting Team Galactic, but now it's been remixed to this even more awesome version for Brawl!

Now here's a song to remember! It's the music that makes you jump when a wild Pokémon attacks you while walking the grassy plains of the Hoenn region!

Victory Road, where the weak are separated from the true champions! This is a great song, but hearing it reminds me of the hours of frustration trying to do all of the annoying puzzles and running into trainers that I just didn't want to battle!

This is a song that is kind of strange to hear with an action packed brawl. It plays on many routes in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl including Route 209, but probably won't be recognized until you hear it.

Unconfirmed
This is the Stadium/Evolution song presented to us long ago on the Dojo!! which can be assumed will be in this stage.

Here we have the Pokémon Main Theme. Listening to this makes me remember the good old days with my Pokémon attire, strolling down the street with Gameboy in hand. I see no reason why this classic should be excluded from this stage! The more the merrier!
