Anyone seen Shazam 2 yet? It hit cinemas tonight. I’m gonna see it Saturday.

Saw Antman 3 in a 25% full theater. YIKES! It’s pretty bad. MODOK and everything about him in unforgivable. The cringe humor and one liners are not good either. Now I get why critic scores are so low. The good news is that Kang is absolutely great. He’ll only get better too.

Antman 3 sitting at a tasty 49% critic score and 84% audience score on RT. I hope Marvel learns from this and stops undercutting heavy/emotional moments with humor and cringe moments.

To be fair, the Antman franchise is mid at best and doesn’t make much money at the box office. His 2 previous films are lower stakes, simple, and more personal. They just don’t resonate with the audience that well. I think he’s best served as a sidekick or part of a team like in Civil War 2016...

MK (1995) is so bad it’s good (such good memories of this film when I was a kid) but Rampage (2018) was pretty bad imo. The Rock is meh every time I see him and my least favorite monster was the Ape. The croc was super cool though.
