  • So you're all set for tomorrow? No other questions?

FYI, I have medium length dark hair and glasses, I'll be wearing a black and blue hoodie, and I'll have a black laptop bag. My real name is Jake, and I'll either be by myself or with a large group of people (there are a bunch of people coming from around UBC that I plan on meeting up with at Coquitlam as well). I'll be waiting for the C38 by Bay 3. Hopefully that'll make it easier to find each other. =P

If you miss the 169 to Coquitlam, you can just take another bus designated for Coquitlam. If you do arrive to Coquitlam late, that's when you should let me know. My cell number is (780) 686-2236 if you need to reach me.

According to the Translink website, if you get on the Skytrain at 8:44 and follow those directions, you should reach Coquitlam at 9:24. The bus we'd need to take from there to the venue leaves at around 9:36 and arrives at 9:58. There would be 4 minutes between the time you arrive at Braid station and the time you'd have to catch the bus, but it shouldn't take long at all. If you do wind up missing it, there are several other busses that go to Coquitlam from Braid, but they'll probably either take longer or come by less frequently. The 169 leaves every 15 minutes.

    Hope this helps. =]

No problem. That's what I'm here for. =P

From Metrotown, you'd want to take the Skytrain heading East (take the one for VCC-Clark, NOT the one for King George), and get off at Braid station. This is about 15 minutes down the line. When you get off, head down the stairs and walk out the entrance; the base of the building is lined with various bus stops. One of these will be for the 169 to Coquitlam Station. Get on that bus. Take it all the way to the Coquitlam bus loop; it's the last stop, so you can't miss it. It's roughly a 20 minute bus ride.

I don't know if you've seen it, but we're having a decent-sized tournament in Coquitlam in about a month. (Oct. 9th) The link is in the Canada sub-forum; I'd fetch it, but I have to go to class soon. You should definitely try and make it out. =D

We might also be having a smashfest somewhere in the Vancouver area in a week or two. It may not get talked about much on the boards, but you're welcome to come if you want. Just let me know.
