I have decided to have a christmas tournament in waterloo, ontario! Only people who respond to this thread will be invited! There is no enterance fee or winning prize. If i don't get enough responders, then it will be cancelled.

If you want to run a successful smashfest, here's some tips :

- Post this in the Tournament Discussion, not the International community.
- Bring up a rule set for your event.
- Ask for TVs, cubes if requiered.
- Post a link to your tournament in the Ontario thread or the Montreal thread.

It should look more professional. ;)

Wow dude, did you decide to completely ignore my PM on why a Christmas tournament is a terrible idea?

Most of us have families to go to.

No one will go because there is no money. What's the purpose of travelling 4-5 hours to go to a smash tournament with no gain?

We also have Biweeklies here in Montreal so that basically covers smashfests for us, so you can expect zero to little Quebec participation (this is my assumption, I don't know if anyone actually would be interested in this).

You have never organized a tournament before so none of us can really trust how things will go.

Christmas is in 2 days, how do you expect people to make it? Give us AT LEAST a month advance notice.

This tournament is an auto bust, sorry guy. Plan your tournament more ahead of time and not on such an important day such as Christmas.
