whay, with the NW getting under way and the south getting organised the UK smash scene might jus be able to make somthing of itself in time for brawl o.0 on the plus side there should be alot of interest in brawl and if brawl is crap...then melee ftw!

Oddly enough I'm gonna be setting up Biweeklys over my end (Somerset), if we make sure that we do them on alternating times, we can make sure that, while it is a bit of a trek, anybody who doesnt mind a bit of a bus journey can make it to both. (Me and Jake probably will on several occasions - along with the rest of GMC ^^) Yeovil is on a pretty decent train route, and it only takes about £14 for a return ticket on the bus.

If you want we'll hold ours on one of the first/last two weeks of the month or whatever we're pretty flexible to be honest.

At the moment its just going to be held at craigs house, unless there's a large turn-out and we'll talk about hiring a hall - but this will mean fee's for hall coverage.

Right - in the nearish future (Next two weeks or so) Alex and Charles were planning on coming down my end, I'm gonna set up the first monthly for then - I vote we both do monthly tournaments, but alternate them so theres one every two weeks, so we effectivley have southern biweeklys. Christ this is going to be awesome o.o I think doing biweeklys in both places, so theres always one would be a bit too much.

Anyway - I'm in work at the moment, but when I get back, I'm going to get a date set for our first one down here (Which will be run in my shop), and then you can try to set yours for two week after maybe? I'll run the first as I've got a venue ready 24/7, give you guys a minute to work stuff out.

EDIT: Thinking about it, maybe we could get Ed to run Biweeklys on the alternating weeks, so theres one every week - north/south/north/south. People probably wouldent be able to make it to all of them, but it means that england will suddenly have a Proper competetive scene! w00t!

its not a North v south tournament. North v south is a sdb tradition, we split our crew up based upon uk geography. Amazingly that means the mafia will be in team north U_U. Theres no choosign which team your on. Hopefully its a crew rivalry that we can ontinue at every tournament inthe future. Until one day england v scotland is possible again. Ill be getting a trophy for edmas that'll be kept with the winning crew's captain!
