Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto - ToS2! (October 2006-unconfirmed)

Hi guys,

I emailed the church asking to book the basement we used for ToS1. I asked for October 14th, but said that any of the weekends in October after it would be ok too (so it may be on the 21st or 28th). It will NOT be on the 7th, since that's Thanksgiving weekend. This thread is mostly a heads-up so that other tournament organizers know when I'm planning this. I'll make a thread in Tourney Discussion once everything is confirmed, and we can start registration, trash-talk, Dice money matches, etc.

When Shiz, Jarc and I took the bus to Ottawa for ToS1, we paid about 60 bucks round trip on Greyhound. Kage, if you feel like going, there's a greyhound bus stop in Kirkland on St. Charles. That's the one you'd probably want to go to.

Don't confirm me yet as I have to see how hectic my semester will be. But I do want to go, but only if I travel with some people.

Ya, tournaments does open your eyes to new skills. But i really can't incorporate wave dash into my battle skills. I mean for me its worthless, it doesnt help me at all. I always end up getting hit for no reason. I think Ill stick to whatever I know and perfect it.

Unfortunately, it looks like the church is busy on both October 21 and 28. This means the tourney would either have to happen on October 14th (which would conflict with MLG NY), or be delayed until November sometime (I was told that the first two weekends of November are available...for now). So, for those who are interested in coming to this, I'll leave the date up to a vote. To have a possible November date people can vote for, I'll say the other day will be the first Saturday of November, the 4th.

Having said all that: please post in this thread whether you would prefer ToS2 to be on October 14th, or November 4th. I'll wait 2 or 3 days for votes, then I'll book the church for whichever date gets the most votes.
