Just wanted to let you guys know that I will be gone for the rest of the week. My friend from school is getting married, so I have to fly to the mid west tomorrow... kinda stinks to have to fly now after all that's happened recently, but oh well... before I leave I want to give you an update on how things are going with the upgrade.
I realize there are still some annoying problems on the board, and I apologize once again for the slowness in solving them. But at least most of the critical problems have been taken care of. The three styles that are selectable right now should be working fine... The revolution style still needs a little work (I know, I know - the DK picture still remains when you login - I'm working on getting your avatar to load once you login)., but most of the main problems have been solved. Thanks for your continued patience.
The main error that remains is the class_mail.php error many of you have reported. I have consulted several people, and it appears to be a server issue rather than a board issue... it's just quite unlucky that we have server issues to add to the vB upgrade problems.
Anyway, until that is fixed I don't think thread subscriptions/email notifications will work, because the boards can't seem to connect to the mail server. Our server manager is working on it this week, so maybe it will be fixed when I'm gone.
That is really the main problem now, everything else is minor I believe. When I return I will continue to work on all the minor problems you guys have reported.

edit: and the smilies now look better on dark backgrounds :) (although you'll probably hav e to clear your cache to see the new ones)
