Lolz. thanks tope. Me being "busy" was watching Alien after I unpacked my car.

As far as brackets, I'm not really sure who had teams last.

The pool results were as follows:

if you didn't win any: you got last in your pool.

If you won once, you got second to last.

If you won twice, you got third to last, or third, and probably just missed qualifying.


If people are miffed about the pools only qualifying two:

1. Pools aren't a requirement. You're getting guarunteed 3 to 5 tourney matches, whereas double elim only guaruntees two tourney matches.

2. 3rd place qualifiers would go right smack against 1st placers from other pools. So if you got third place in Aho's pool, be prepared to play chillen or azen. Loser's bracket may be a saving grace, but you're in for a hard match.

3. Only G-Reg got 2nd in his pool and went to do really well in the tourney. All other 2nd seeds from pools were eliminated early. It's safe to assume 3rd seeds would fare similarly.


BONUS TIP:
Next tournament (7/29), I will have something special in store for those entrants that don't qualify into the main event. Since there is a gap between "professional" smashers and "amateur" smashers, it's good to have something for everyone.

Me and Doll got last in teams! Took Nasty to the third match, they're too nasty. Then lost to Oro/Yuna.

I finally got out of my pool for the first time in like 5 tournaments.

Overall it was fun, should be at the next one. Shoutouts later/maybe.

I saw, from edge, wavedash > A > A > A (on my shield) > D-smash alot, as well as Jump > 3 Uairs > Double Jump > 3 Uairs > Fair.

His game was pretty much flawless... he got me with so many Down wavesmashes. Most hit me twice whenever he pulled them off.

the only kills I got on him were from spikes with falco and falcon.

he two stocked me twice.

and yes, I know... he most likely wasn't trying at all
