It was a pretty decent tournament, I'm glad they resolved the issues with lack of tvs and stuff. Everyone was quite nice and there were some staggeringly awesome match-ups. Too bad Mow and Cape were absent, and Farzan was far from playing his best.

2. Farzan
3. Axle
4. MegaManX
5. Mech
5. Rose
6. adam p

Peach won the tournament with a lil help from Keer, ha. Farzan was amazing, as usual. Alex (Axle AKA Twin Dreams) was getting mad lucky against MegaManX in a Fox Vs Falco match. MMX surprised me; he's a very good player. I didn't expect that anyone would be there capable of beating me besides Keer, Fzan, and other GGPD members (Axle, Mech). I didn't get to play MMX but I'm sure he would've come out on top. he's also a really nice guy...**** good at ddr too.
As for me, I went straight-up Bowser the entire time : )
Cheers, and congrats to Keer and Farzan for the wonderful dinner conversation. And er, topping the tournament. Congrats to everyone else who showed up. I hope you had a good time.

Can't tell you how many times I've heard that at tourneys, but there was nary a whine today. I for one had a great time.
yea, that was a mad good time, (even tho i got Keer first round). Alex's match against MMX wasnt all luck. That shine spike that he went way off stage to hit was pretty skilled. And the huge "OOOHHHHH!" from the crowd right after that was sweet aswell. I did better than i expected, I won a few practice rounds, ut I just came to hang out, learn stuff, have fun. Good time. Oh, nice dance Johnny, nice dance.

|Well, my match against MMX was pretty lucky, I think the shine spike you are talking about was against Fzan. Did I shine spike MMX? I forget.
It was so long ago. v.v

This was my first tournament and I placed last...oh well. It was really fun and I learned so much more now that I've seen more advanced players??? Yeah I guess so. I think mabey I was nervous, but oh well, I guess bamf is just a better player heh heh.
This bieng my first tournament, I find it cool to be able to play people from out of my area that take the game seriously too.
Umm not really sure to how I'm going to conclude this post so.....
Yeah, alex double drift shine spiked farzan...that was a ****ing amazing finish to that Fox ditto. In the Fox vs Falco with MMX, Alex spiked him with firefox, lol. Then Falco side-B'ed off the edge. MMX had some good stuff going with the tech chases though, and almost brought it back. But Alex isn't just lucky, he's also quite slick. Between his Fox and Fzan's, I'd say Fzan's is superior, but not by much. Alex was quite crafty and his place reflects that.
However, he wasn't so smart when he counterpicked Fzan with Pokefloats : )

Ya I was there, my tag was BAMF and I played sheik the whole time even though I should have used my falcon but I was too unsure I guess. I was good for me to see some better players other than MMX. Me, MMX, and Butter were all from the cleveland area and MMX is probably the best in our group. I learned some stuff from my matches against MECH even though I lost both times, I shoulda picked Falcon on FD because I knew his sheik was better, shrug. I still need to L-cancel and Wavedash while I'm actually fighting before I learn anything more I think. Well I'll try and attend more tournaments soon.
Also good match TMR, ya I'll admit that u probably know more than me but one thing I noticed about your marth was too much Fsmash and not enough Fairs. Fairs are good chained together or into anything else from what I've seen playing against MMX's Marth for so long.

thanks for showing up ^__^ thanks to Keer for wanting to run the tournament ^__^ thanks to all who brought things ^__^ happy you guys all had fun and made it worth the effort lalalala
oh, yea, speaking of bringing things....
I told my dad i was goana bring the crappy little 6" tv in the basement, and he was cool with that, but then, when i woke up, my parents were astleep, so i was goana bring the TV in my room (13"). I got out the door and dropped it XD. No lie, the screen is broken. so i put it back in the house and left immediatly.
I get back home and my dad is PISSED! So I cant go to Steel City Smash till I replace that TV, which shouldnt be a problem...

It was pretty fun driving out an hour and twenty mins at 80mph to get there haha. It was nice to meet you guys and Rose your Bowser is awesome. I was trying to figure out what to do after I can move away from your grab thing when you're comming down. But I hoped my Link put up a good fight hah.
The black hole glitch at the end of the tournament was fun too haha.
Yea, people kept coming back there wondering what that annoying noise was
