Alright looks like we've got this thing sorted. Currently there's a tentative date of April 8th. The date will either be confirmed Monday or changed to later in April ( most likely 22nd) so check back here! Also, apologies for short notice =s

Hmmmmm I have my own GC. I could ask a few friends of mine if i could borrow theirs or if they want to come along lol. All we need now is people bringing TV's and we're sorted :D

I have just moved to London and very resently joined the smash comunity, and would love to join this tournament if possible, I have a GC with controllers and the game of course, (however it is a NTSC GC do I have all the adaptors). TV might be a little bit more difficult since I am just moving on April the 3th, and don't think my things will be there by then.

PS: The GC and game are always with me wouldn't let anyone hadle such important equipment

I don't mind really on either date.

If you don't want other people to handle your stuff, why don't you handle your own stuff ^^. The smash community is like any other gaming community i know of. :)

Nylkran : Tournaments are always bring your own controller. Controllers aren't provided!

Shadowlaw: It can't be a week later due to the fact that theres another tournament in taunton on that weekend in which alot of players will be going too, myself included.

This tournaments a nice way tog et all the london guys meeting up in on eplace for the first time, don't worry too mcuh regarding how you do etc, more of a learning excercise / seeing how good you are.

I just spoke to the venue owner's. They cannot do the 8th anymore. I was put down for the 8th but they said 'local' bookings would get priority over my own booking, and since I couldn't put down a deposit...

Anyway, I asked for the 22nd. They said phone back tomorrow and I'll get a definite answer.

I'll also phone other places from now to see if we can get a place for 22nd!

I'll be about, presuming this doesn't go the way of last year's, probably gonna team with Tone unless Heyu is turning up.

On a side note I'll be fixing up a new house over the coming months, so other than a quick shout to any londoners who would be up for a regular games night; there's a chance I'll have some crash space for any of you noobs who want to stay down and don't have a place. Or just want somewhere to hang out at.

We have the living room from 1pm - 6pm. After 6pm we can use his room, maybe not all can stay after 6pm ^_^ depends if you can fit in the room.

If anyone has change of plans regarding the smashfest, post here to let me know what's happening. Or, if you wanna come, post here.
There'll be two TV's. Hope the floor is comfortable enough for y'all ^_^. We'll I have some extra stools if need be.

Cool, a London tourney. Me showing up depends on whether I know how to get to the place, so I'll most likely come and be a n00b lol. My Gamecubes broke though, so I'm afraid I can't bring it, and it also means that I'll suck from lack of practice. But it should be good fun :)

Clim : Don't be worried, alot of the players goign to the tournament are players that have limited tournament experience . . if any. Hence, everyones new to the scene so your more than welcome to come along. In the end of the day its all aimed at fun fun fun.

FOR EVERYONE GOING TO KIDBROOKE STATION!
if you don't know how to get there tomorrow, please to not rely on luck and choosing any old station where to go. some stations will be closed due to engineer works or another stupid reason, including DLR!
If you're not 100% sure on how to get to kidbrooke station, I will be at Waterloo station at 11:30. From there I will be travelling to Kidbrooke and we should arrive there between 12:30 and 13:00.

Waterloo and City line is closed as well: i would advise the Londeneres to travel to Waterloo station via the bakerloo line (Tottenham court road station)

ps: i would also like to add i think spkz is a ****ing legend and he pwnz in life and in ssbm <3

I just got back from Norway today, I would've come to Ant's otherwise, oh well.

Why do you *******s put all these big events in April, it's the busiest time of the year for people trying to get a degree (me).... = P

I'll find some other time for revision and such and such in this case.

Anyway, good to see some Southern events going down.

I have no tourny experience, but it would be cool to get some. It's not definite I can come - I would have to make sacrifices like missing FA Cup semi-final :psycho:
