Well after finally getting a date and place for the tourney, the normal stuff starts now ^^

First up as always I take the easy road and lift on Silvers back for the rules so thx Silver ^^
The Venue.
First up the adress:

1338 AW Almere Buiten
First: You're not allowed to bring your own food and drinks. (with the exception of water and small candy) They sell drinks and food for a lowerprice there than you'd be able to buy at the snackbar, so I assume people won't have too much trouble doing so.
(Because they are a youthcentre they can sell consumptions for a lower price, which is why they aren't allowed to do parties anymore. Other clubs etc complained about this at the city hall ><)
For those who don't believe me can go to the snackbar on the other side of the square, and a bit further is a supermarket(not open on sunday ><)
About the place:
It's a...eehmm... in dutch it's called a "buurtcentrum" but you could call it a youthcentre.. I guess.
In the big hall I'll be able to get a lot of people in so for now I'm not gonna make a restriction on how many people can attend..(unless it might get up to 100 :p)

Rules for 1 vs 1:
First there will be the pouls. (not sure yet how many, depends on how many people there are)
After Pouls it's Double Elimination, best of 3. Best of 5 from quarter finals, best of 7 for winner's finals.
4 Stock, 8 minutes Stocktime
If the timer runs out the player with the most stock left wins. In case of a stock tie the player with the lowest percentage wins (so the Sudden Death does not count in this case). In case of a percentage tie the Sudden Death is played.
Items are off.
First match in a set the stage is either agreed upon or random. All further matches within a set the loser of the previous match gets to pick stage. However, if a stage has already been played in a set it can only be played a second time if the winner of the previous match agrees to play it again.
The following stages have been taken of random select: Battlefield, Peach's Castle, Rainbow Ride, Kongo Jungle, Jungle Japes, Great Bay, Temple, Brinstar, Brinstar Depths, Yoshi's Island, Green Greens, Corneria, Venom, Poké Floats, Mute City, Big Blue, Onett, Fourside, Mushroom Kingdom, Mushroom Kingdom 2 Icicle Mountain, Flat Zone Kongo Jungle N64 and Yoshi's Island N64.
That leaves just 5 stages on random select: Yoshi's Story, Fountain of Dreams, Pokémon Stadium, Final Destination and Dream Land N64.
Temple, Yoshi's Island N64 and Great Bay have been banned and can not be picked. All other stages can be picked.
The first match of a set both players are allowed to pick character, all following matches only the loser of the previous match is allowed to switch character if he wants to. The winner of the previous match must remain the same character.
And finally, stalling tactics such as Peach bombering or rising pound are banned unless when used for recovery.
Rules for teams:
Team attack is on.
All other rules are the same as 1 vs 1.

Rules for crew tournament:
1. Crews of 4-5 members
2. Divide 20 stock between them(evenly).
3. Players make a sheet that says the characters they will use, and who will play first. This sheet will be shown to the other crew at the beginning of the set to make sure no cheating happens.
4. Stage selection will contain the neutral lvls only and all matches will be selected by random. The same stage cannot be played twice in a row, but can be played more than once in a set.
5. Whichever crew loses all of their stock first loses.
6. When the match starts and one player has to SD in order to have his required stock(such as 4 stock vs 3 stock) the person who has to wait may not charge anything such as needles, charge shot, shadowball, etc. It would be if the person just stood still. The player that has to SD may not harm the other opponent.
7. Players who win their matches only need to retain their stock(he won the match with 2 stock left, he goes on with 2 stock). Players will not need to regain their damage.
8. Try to form a crew with your own country/region for as much as possible.

Attendance fee:
Since I'm renting a big venue this time I have to ask an attendance fee.
This will be 10 Euro's for both days, you can enter everything you want with that. I will use this to pay the rent for the venue, people behind the bar(without them I can't get in) and the few tv's they have available for rent.
Without doing that I'll be broke for sure :p since I'll also have to cover some for the people sleeping at my house (drinks, food etc etc, even though I have great parents it's asking quite a lot of them ^^)
That's it as far as the venue and tourney goes.
