Requesting Help for a Combo Video

I'm currently working on an "ultimate" combo video including the best combos I can find synchronized to music. I'm sure this has been done before, but I hope to outdue any predecessors with superior editing and footage. I recently completed a "Mindgames Music Video" which I enjoyed making and presenting immensely. If you're interested, the topic should be listed in this forum.

The most difficult phase in video production for me is accumulating and editing out the footage to use for the video. So far I've collected about 50% of what I'll need to begin synchronizing--and I need your help so I can finish.

It takes a lot of time to go through smash videos; I have about 400, and out of those only 1/15 have anything worth including. I need exact file names of fights with awesome combos which I can look up on DC++ or preferably a direct link to download. I want to avoid showing the same-old-same-old combos people have seen in popular combo videos, so I'm looking for short clips of awesome combos which I've found a few of on DC++, or (most preferably) full fights with one or two awesome combos within. I will only revert to using clips out of combo videos if the fountain of combos you present ends up dry--it is a last resort.

You may also suggest music for the movie, though I confess, the chance of me using it is slim.

Quite the task to take on Iron but when/if you get it done it should be great. My suggestion would have to be make sure you get at least one psycho combo for every character rather than just eighteen million Falcon combos, so as to appease all possible veiwers.

If you're looking for footage, the only match I can think of off the top of my head is DSF (Sheik) vs. Mike G (Peach) Round 3. The match has some great combos and DSF goes psycho at the end. Good stuff...

You mentioned we could suggest music but maybe it would be a good idea to say what type of music so that we might have a better chance of suggesting something you'll include.

Fair > dash-cancelled dtilt > fair > aerial needle > dtilt > fair > air needle turn-around > double jump off the edge > bair > edgehog -- killing the Mike G's peach, 48% - 114%, is the best combo in the video. An impressive combo by DSF, though because it was against peach it was a bit slow and although it results in a death, the death is due to an edgehog which you're not sure is going to kill the peach until she floats back a few seconds later--this makes the viewer doubt the death unless the full edgehog death is included, which slows down the pace of the video if included. I'll probably use it anyway.

As for music: No rap, country or pop (probably, there are some from these categories which would suit the video, though rare), and make sure the music has a synchronizable and powerful beat. It is very difficult to judge what beats -are- synchronizable until I hear it, so use your own judgement.

I'm actually thinking up ideas to make one of these myself as well, except the combos will only be by me. I'll use every single character and try to get them against as many characters as possible, and I'm going to do combos and just crazyness.

My nickname's Shizblacka so I was thinking of naming it "Shizblackattack" and I already have the music selected and everything. Like you, I'm gonna sync them.

As soon as I have a way to put good quality videos onto my computer, recording and editing will begin.

Nah but it's not even for sure that I'm gonna do mine, I don't have a way of getting my stuff on the computer yet.

I was simply saying that I'm doing something similar, so it should be interesting to see two different versions and stuff.

2 AMAZING combos

1) Darkrain (Falcon) vs. Isai (Fox) near the middle- 55% to Death @ 120%?
2) Vidjo Gamer (Peach) vs. Ken (Fox) near the end- 0% to 75%

Good stuff. There were more but those were the amazing ones.
