I dont know if i am in the right thread for this. If not can a mod move it please? Merci.

Now with that out of the way, this is what I have to say. For all of you Samus players out there who are better then me (and there are plenty, hehe) If anyone can get under Final D and come back up and take a video of it. I would be much obliged as I am working on getting under Final D (see my thread in the Samus forum) So if anyone could make a video of that I would be very grateful.

P.S. Yes, i know that this is pointless and totally useless. I just want to do it to have a very good tactic to stall and to piss off my friends when their edge-gaurding fails.

I just tried that yesterday. I'll bet you could if you could conserve double jump and up-b, and if you could grapple twice. I died pretty quickly.

I don't think I know very many good Samus players. Try Lanowen; he's pretty good with Samus and is excellent at her special moves and tactics.

Ugh, I've been trying it. It seems you either need to do something I have no idea how to do, or you have to do the Rising Grapple after your second jump.

It doesn't seem too hard to me, maybe it is in practice. Bomb drop and edge downwards, use your double jump to get under FD, airdodge (up and backwards) and grapple the side, tap a immediately to pop up into the air, UP+B against the side to slide right up to the edge.
Also you could shoot a charged shot in the opposite direction to push you back a bit.

That's really easy for you to say. The airdodge -> grapple will miss.

How will air dodging make it miss? You can still grapple after you air dodge.

... I'm not saying the airdodge makes it miss. I mean the airdodge to grapple doesn't make you go high enough to reach grapple-able wall.

I think you have to jump off facing outwards.

you could jump off facing back however it would be just as easy to get a super long grapple and use its direction capability to grapple backwards....

I just thought of something. Couldn't you use the homing beam to reach up while your underneath the level?
