Pikaville : There should be a large tournament in Newcastle, England in May or late april (ran by me). You should try get yourself across with other irish players and see how you fair versus high level european competition. Its cheap flying from ireland to newcastle aswell.

Also, contact me on msn. Ive got about 8 or so msn contacts for irish players. Being irish you've got a better chance of organising them all/meeting them ;)

any tournaments on in england between june - august time frame ? I'd love to goe to the one in may but ive got my fourth year college finals during may.

I had no idea there were this many irish people into smashers. I'm in limerick btw

I have a number of smash friends. who are also more than proficient at smashers. four of whom i'd consider of a very high standard, and another three of a less high standard. all of us are smash crazy!!

I'm sure that any of them would be delighted participate in any irish smash tournament

I do believe your best chance is making a UK tournament. Large Uk tournaments are pretty infrequent to be honest and my tournament which should be first weekend in May may possibly be the last UK gamecube tourney before the revolution x_X. Its also very cheap to fly into newcastle and it would only be for a weekend?

Oh, I don't think there'll be any tournaments during the time you stated. Basically as its the last summer of competitive smash on the cube alot of european players (the good ones and pillars of the community) are attempting to go to america. Hence, after ROS3 (a large june european tourney in sweden early july) there probs won't be anything till after the summer :/

Also at Allan. At my tournament we will be having a england v scotland match, you can prove your trashtalk there = p. That is if you guys can get enough players LOL
