sup all, i'm new here and i had planned posting some videos of my "crew" playing, but i have one problem, i'm a really newbie at editing my vids, heres the problem: I'm currently using photoshop 7.0, and i wanted to make a banner/image to represent my crew, when i finally managed to make it, I saved it and then proceded to add it to my video, only one problem...it turns out that the image is in a "photoshop image" format so it won't allow me to use it, i'm guessing i need to change the image format for someting like an "JPEG Image"...but, i jus can't figure out how to change it!, i've searched all over the place for answers, but nothing, if someone here could help me out here i'll greatly appreciate it. Oh, and what is the best program out there for editing my videos?!?!...thanks, DK-5.

or u can do it the easy way...go back to the image and go to "file" then "save as" and when the window opens that asks you what to name the file and where u want to save it there is a long rectangular pull down menu that u can change the file type from a photoshop image to any other image type what such as jpeg, bitmap, png etc.

In photoshop, there's a specific command called "save for web". This is what you're looking for. A different sort of save screen will come up with some more options, such as format (gif, jpeg, etc.) and dither, etc. Default settings will probably be good for what you want. Also, there are some good photoshop guides posted in the Artwork Emporium. Check those out if you need further help.
