Roy Shffling Help Plz

ive been trying to practice how to shffl with roy 4 a while but i can never tell if im doing it right or not. can someone plz explain the timing and how i can tell if i did it right? and i would like to know which move to shffl most and if there are any combos i can do from shffling. thanks help would be appreciated

i'm sure you can tell if you're short hopping and fastfalling, right?

to tell if you're l-canceling well, just look at recovery time. if it seems noticably less than when you don't cancel, then you're probably doing it. sometimes adding an action after the cancel can help see the difference, like shffling again or grabing.
