Ok I have Adobe Movie Premiere software, I can at least do some basic editing with it. But the main problem I have with it is the File size of the final product, I have tried lot's of diferent ways from frame skipping and low resolution but the files always end up been 400mb and up for 5 mins videos. So in the end I have to take this file and convert it with Windows Movie maker to a WMV so it only takes about 20mb. If anyone could give me help on how to make the size small with Adobe it would be great help, also I would like to help on the Fade-in, fade-out effects and scrolling text. Any small tutorials on basic effects would be great help for anyone that has this program.

hey i use premiere a lot and have a few music vids that i made by myself so they are not amazing but they are pretty good for doing it alone...they are about 4 min long and around 60 mb...one thing to do is to export you movie completely uncompressed as an .avi file. then download a program to convert and compress it such as "eo video" into a smaller file...or you can play around with the export settings like i did
heres a link to my music video if youd like to watch it...its about 35 mb

I'd suggest using a program like Virtual Dub (http://www.virtualdub.org/) to encode it after you've done so with Premiere. There are two versions of it, but I'm not quite sure of the diffrence it will make. (There's normal and VDMod) There are faqs online on how to encode with various codecs (personally, I like XviD and h.264/x.264 for size and quality), but you'll probably just want to encode with DivX. If you have trouble with that, I guess there's always DivX's own encoding software from their website.
