Just to let you all know, I am a very skilled pikachu player. I've can even beat my friend who plays as Fox, very good Fox player just to add. I also love to beat people to death with the parasol, but thats besides the point.

My point here is: While playing as Pikachu in Very Hard Classic, I came up on the second match, Team Link (Link, Zelda). Since i'm player one, I started the nearest the platform to the left that leads the bottom champer. I got down there and waited for Link. As he came down, I rolled to the right which placed him between me and the wall.

Now lets do the Math: Wall+Link+Pikachu=Severe smacking. As soon as link landed, I wailed on the A button, racking up damage faster than a rabbit on viagra. Then Zelda got stupid and decided to join link. Now I was beating both of them at the same time. With 3:30 left on the clock, both had over 500% damage. The rest is history.

Now the trick is simple: Find a small platform with a wall on one side. Wait next to the wall for an opponent. As they land or about to land, roll away from the wall and start pressing the A button like mad, or in a steady pace.

These spots, that i've found, are in:hyrule Temple: the platform right under neathe the surface, on the left; Peach's Castle: In the middle, the 2 ledges; Onnett: the house on the far right, the lower roof.

There are other spots i'm sure. Use these spots to fool your friends. If you have a turbo controller, i envy you. Pikachu has the fastest damaging racking A move. Try out the spots in training mode. Pikapride!

Well, if you're saying you can headbutt someone against a wall to a high percentage of damage, you're wrong.

Of course, against CPU's, it might work, because they DI real bad. But against a human who can DI at least a little, your tactic becomes useless. They just DI up, jump out of it and plant an aerial in your face while you're suffering the headbutt's winddown lag. Or they can Crouch cancel it and wait until you're far enough from him and then D-tilt or D-smash.

So I'm sorry, but it won't work.

Aye. They can also DI towards you, which will move you slightly in that direction until they have enough room to DI back, and then proceed to fsmash or otherwise punish the lag of pika's neutral a. The only spots this works is where pika is also against a wall (such as the nook in the tree of pokemon stadium), and even then some characters can still DI upwards out of it after a short time.

Yeah, I read this, and was like, "Man that sounds good....against a computer." I can guarantee a human player just wouldn't stand there without blocking or trying to jump out of it. It's just like Bowser walking right into me, even at cpu level 9....no human player would just simply try to walk up to you, waiting for you to make a move.

Oh yee of little faith. I have tried these theorys allready and proved them both right and wrong. Yes, you can DI out of a combo but one can only DI when they are air borne, even just sligthly off the ground. With Pikachu's headbutt, someone can DI after so much damage, for say, about 478%. This was used on Ganondorf, rather heavy fella. While someone is still on the ground, they can't DI, crouch, or nothing at all for that matter. Thats why I said to roll away and let them land, that way you can rack up damage without giving them the opportunity to escape with DI or any other move for that matter. Trust me. Try it for your self. Go to Training, Go the Hyrule temple stage. set the opponent to HMN and place him on the small platform that hangs just above the pit area, left of player 1 spawn point. Place the opponent between you and the wall. Start wacking him with Pikachu's headbutt as fast as you can. As you wack the opponent with pikachu, try to DI out of it with the other controller. This is easier if you have someone help you, but you can do this with one hand on both controllers. But trust, this works. And why are you denounceing this anyway, this is good stuff!
