Secondary for Doc?

What's a good secondary for Doc? Right now Falco's my secondary but I also play CF, Link and DK. Of course, it doesn't have to be any of those people.

sheik's always a good secondary to have. i think she compliments doc's weaknesses pretty well (i.e. samus, peach, and marth). she also plays in a similar fashion, and isn't too hard to get accustomed to.

as for me i also use falco, Dr. Mario is a balance person with a good speed so you can really use anybody to Second him.

? That makes no sense, of course there's a good secondary. You choose a secondary to cover the weaknesses of your primary. For example, my Doc has trouble with Marth and Jiggs so I could logically choose someone good against them to cover it.

When I played Doc my secondary was Mario. Who knew?

How can you be bad against Puff with the Doc? I haven't really had much problem with some of the better puff players when I'm doc. As mario... That is a different story.

I think it's just the way I play, mostly aerials and a good puff can out prioritize/manuver me in the air.

I'm pretty sure Doc still has problems with Puffkins... that is my least favorite Doc matchup, second being Marth. Peach and Samus can be nasty too, they never die. They only thing that really saves me in the puff matchup is how easily he/she dies from the FAir.

On topic: I have two seconds, two characters just isn't enough variety for me. Fox is my main, I use C. Falcon to kill Marths and Doc to just mix it up from time to time.

It's gotten to the point now where I have like 7 characters I play. I guess my second is Falco because I'm better with him than the rest but I also play DK, Roy, Link and CF. I also mess around with Luigi but I suck with him.

Honestly Roy has worked well for my doubles partner i work with at MLG. Roy is good to train with becuause his moves are stronger yet slower, but still same the same intent. (ie juggling low lag etc) He lacks the speed and efficiency of doc (when used by the same player) and getting back to doc really "tajes off the weights" so to speak. The better you can edgegaurd/juggle/controll the match with roy, the better you can be with doc.

I really like me some Captain Falcon.

My mains, like yours are Doctor Mario and Falco, but my third is Peach.

But I think Sheik is a good option, just be weary of the difference in DI both Sheik and Doc have.

ganon is a decent choice, he has upperhands against characters who doc has lower hands (ICs, marth, and jiggs), also can use ICs for sheik and falcon
