PHOENIX ARIZONA SMASH BROS MELEE TOURNAMENT

LOCATION/directions: GAME CRAZY on POWER and RAY (Gilbert Gateway)

*from 101/60 go EAST. until POWER. go SOUTH. past WARNER. there will be a target shopping center on power and ray. go in the parking lot, find the game crazy and say hi to TEAM WIN.

DATE:
12/9/!!!!

RULES:
double elimination. 4 stock. 7 minutes. best out of three. semi-finals best out of 5. finals best out of 7.
no items.
BYOC (bring your own controller) although there will be controllers at the store, you wouldn't want to use them

*no ice climber freeze glitching.
*stage selection will be on random or players may agree on level.
*if somebody loses a round they may choose either to change their character OR the next stage played.
*stage may be agreed upon OR random
***NO money-matches (sorry guys, save that for TEAM WIN on sat)

and maybe battlefeild

ENTRY FEE/star light*star bright:
$3.00
will be a donation to the star light*star bright charity organization, that builds gaming centers for torminal ill childred living in hospitals.


PRIZES:
EVERYONE THAT ENTERS WILL GET SOME SORT OF OBJECT(mini prize of your choice)
there will be a combination of shirts, demo discs, video games, free rentals, hats, figurines, and quality time with the members of TEAM WIN


DETAILS:
will be very helpful if extra gamecubes, copies of smash bros, and tv's are brought to tournament.

Hopefully this won't flop like the other one? Also, what's the time lookin' like? Us school boys (the few that are still in high school)...do have school Fridays. Another question, can you give the exact address? Directions are all good and well, but I want to get a distance.

don't have the time just yet, will be in the evening after school though. the earliest will be at 5, the latest will be at 7.

this one will not be a flop, i finally got the manger on our side for these things. and we'll probably start doing one every month.
like i've said before, friends will probably be welcome to stay at my house after tournament.

team win is a team of video gamers that are the best around, at many games. from ddr, CS, to SBM, we all have or second games, ones we only own MOST people in, but we all have a special game that we're the best by far in. pretty much all of us have smash as at least a second game.

it was a good turn out for what it was. better than i thought that it would be.

we do tournaments every two weeks. but not always smash. we'll probably do smash tournaments aprox every 6 weeks

they are always at this gamecrazy, unless all of the stores are doing something.

a week from this friday we're having a guitar heros tournament. we do a lot of games, a HALO tournament is coming up, (1/6) MARIO KART, SOUL CALIBR, TEKKEN, DDR, (of course SMASH) and maybe MARVEL VS. CAPCOM, and i want to do a KATAMARI DAMACI tournament...we'll figure something out. i'd like to get people's opinions on what they'll actually come and play, i know smash and halo will always be good for tournaments.
