Being a Ganondorf player the way here are some of my stratgies. The first one you can try is to Side B and when hes up in the air chargw up and and hit him. My favourite one is to jump in the air while your enemy is in the air and just press side A in the direction he is. You will do a punch/slap and send him flying. It is a very very strong move that does not require any sort of charge and it is very hard to avoid. :)

Storm, what you posted is very well known. As in enyone and everyone who's ever played gannon has done it.
