Roy vs. Sheik: What am I s'posed to do?!

DED. Dtilt to Nair, tippered Dtilt to DED or Fsmash. Keep near the edge. Back throw to Fsmash to edgehog makes for one dead sheik. This is a very tough fight. Dont get grabbed

This match is actually just play normally and avoid being grabbed. Spam grab a little yourself since you have the superior range.

People, he asked a simple question. You are acting much more noobish than he is.

Be patient, and watch for needles and grabs. Keep your spacing AMAP, and abuse the wavedash. Or better yet, use an alt who is semi-good at fighting Sheik (if you can...) Roy is just soo overpowered by Sheik.

All you can do is just play normally and abuse grab a little more. Roy has one of the longest grab ranges in the game, abuse it.

they are all giving you good advise. grab a whole lot but at the same time don't get snached up. but one thing they are'nt saying is don't get too greedy or you will die real quick. you miss a f-smash and you can kiss your life goodbye, this one is not in your advantage in any way really. so you have to out think and out play a good shiek. and watch some Neo fights his roy kill sheiks. hope i helped ya out man

1) Avoid being grabbed, as much as you can
2) Use the counter at the right time (practice as well!)
3) Don't act defensive, be on the offense (use useful attacks)
4) Be more aerial
5) Learn wave-dashing, side-dodging, ledge-guard, etc.

3. Roy's best as defensive usually. Also this is contradictary to your first statement with the "Don't get grabbed." Plus, Roy is generally played defensively until you find an opening and then you go completely on the offensive just throwing out hitboxes. But doing it constantly gets you killed.
4. Okay... I don't see how this helps at all. If anything less or the same amount of aerials for comboing. I don't understand how putting yourself in range of fair is a good thing...

Yea all i can say is don't get grab and be patience once she attacks try and dodge then WAM!

Also aviod being grabbed so that the player using Sheik gets Butterfingers -500

My friend is a good Shiek player. All I can tell you is to take advantage of the fact that sheik floats and learn to air/bounce grab. Also, his down poke will stop her from running in on you. Timing must be perfect and don't use the c-stick unless its atleast a 80% chance of hitting, since it leaves Roy too open. Also, Sword dance and use the neutral b move a lot (infact, use the neutral b move instead of his smash).

As already states (many tiems) avoid her grab, and abuse your range You should outrange her on nearly all of your attacks. I'm pretty sure Roy gets destroy in the air by Sheik. As in, crushed. As in stay out of the air.
