I just noticed today that turning into a stone stops all DI, and I was wondering whether or not this would help in a pressure situation...I mean, since Kirby has so many jumps, I'm sure it's worth the fall to stop all DI. Is this technique practical or already discovered? Sorry, but I'm new to the Kirby forums...

Hm, One problem is Your disabled up until a certain point when your sent flying, so you can just jump instead.

But in theory, this works well, or for a vertical hit.

The only purpose I have for Stoning is to fake out opponents who aerial ALOT. Sometimes I fake them out by Stoning off of FD, then cancelling and floating back on. I've had a couple guys follow me down, just to get hit by my dair. (Silly computer)

FoeHammer, IMO the stone is too slow to efficiently fake out other players. Also, if you hit the ground with that, you're just begging to get thrown. What I'm asking is if the technique I proposed is practical. I find it helpful sometimes and I think that the canceling of the DI is well worth the loss of vertical hight. So eh...Whatever...

I'm not sure. Most of the time, any DI you could use Stone to cancel, you can usually set up with jumping. Unless, on a multi-stage level, you get hit while up-bing, then you might want to get to the ground as fast as possible so you could get your jumps back. The only reason I can see, apart from 4-way Smashes, is to lose alot of height very quickly.
