At go ballistic there will be a tournament october 15th, il be there to wip some nooby ***. I have never gone to this place either so dont go freaking out of where it is. Its somekind of game store and here is the site: http://www.goballisticgames.com/Tournaments.htm
You join the day of the tournament for a small 10$ fee. I think its at 1PM....
And here are the actual rules:RULES:
Double Elimination.
Format: 4 stock, no time limit, best 2/3.
No memory cards or saved games allowed.
PLAYERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING THEIR OWN CONTROLLER! Go Ballistic does have controllers you can use however you may use your own controller as long as it is pre-approved by a member of the Go Ballistic! staff prior to the start of the tournament. If a controller is defective, a player can pause the game and notify the referee. If a player plays with a defective controller, all results are counted.
Interruptions: If a game is interrupted through no fault of the players, the current run will be restarted. If the interruption is the fault of any player, that player may be disqualified.
ALL CHARACTERS ARE AVAILABLE. Players have 1 minute to pick character, if both have not picked in one min then a double blind pick is made.
First stage is Random, subsequent stages are chosen by loser. After the loser decides on a stage (but before it is actually selected, obviously), the winner can elect to change their character. The loser can change their character in response to the winner.
Banned stages include: Flatzone, Hyrule Temple, Yoshi's Island 64, DK Jungle Japes, Fourside, Brinstar Depths, Icicle Mountain!!
No items!!
No sudden death; ties go to the leader in %. In case of a tie of % (very rare) then SD is played out.
Any Controller Configuration can be used.
Unnecessary pauses or delays are prohibited.
No cheats, hacks or use of soft spots or glitches will be permitted. Violators will be immediately disqualified.
Games will be run and supervised by Go Ballistic STAFF.
You can use any character you want.
If you have any other questions you can Email them here:
