did u know that roy's down air can meteor smash ppl with the right timing?

it dosn't suprize me but i wouldn't find it too usefull

EDIT: also just incase you were wondering his DED ^B 3rd strike can also be used as a meteor smash

The spike is there but its hard to hit with and not overly usefull anyway. Roy's dair is pretty much only used in the HRC. Since the sandbag isn't a moving target, you can actaully use the attack consistantly.

Roy's best bet on the meteor smash would be to start ur 3 b button combo as soon as they start falling towards the edge about half way up. But i dont rely on meteor smashs so i never use that move.

It requires such precise timing and you have to get close, so its not even worth it accept in fun matches.

Yes...we all know Roy has three meteors....and the only semi-useful one is his DED spike (which is a meteor, so it can still be meteor-cancelled). And even if you DO manage Roy's dair spike, it's the second weakest (or is it the weakest) meteor in the game (next to Zelda's dair). Mookie and I spent a while trying to figure out combos or ANY use of it...we didn't get very far, though we did manage to come close to figuring something out.

It's the ledgehop dair thing right? Yea, that's useless. Leaves you too vulnerable.

And did you guys ever figure out about where you can consistently get Roy's usmash spike down? I tried for awhile one day but I did it like... none. Then when I wasn't trying I did it but I didn't see what part of the sword or where they were.

It works best if the tip hits the char. But, even then it is not always gaurenteed.
