I've been hearing some rumors that around that almost every attack of Ganon will miss a crouching Kirby. It said something about having a gap between Ganon's attack and the floor just big enough for a "Kirby Pancake" to slip through.
If this is true, will Kirby be instantly marked as a Ganon Counter?

No, not really. Ganon's aerials can still hit, along with other ground moves...
Shouldn't this be in the Ganondorf discussion?

Actually, yeah, your question mainly deals with the Ganon side of things...

Its a little late for anything to be marked 'instant' haha, I dont think hes that much of a counter... Kirby is good and weird to play sure, but Ganon still has got some great moves that can hit him, you cant just duck a whole match and be better than somebody, though it helps (shiek)
Ganon is still much better than kirby, and I'm a kirby user saying that!

kirby also does fairly well agaisnt fox/falco, but that doesnt mean he will be moved up (unfortunatly)

even if a kiby crouches gannon has his crouching sweep kick its a good move that sends you up so i can combo with a fair good enough to send you flying cus kirby is such a light weight. only thing i might be cautious of is if i try to intercept your recovery you use b and suck me in for a suicide
