Any way you can make it start any earlier? That seems a bit late...

Also, what rules will there be for Halo 2. and will it be a tourney for any of the games?

It's just a big gaming get together where you bring a game and controller to play.

It says bring the game you want to play (any game so I'll be bringing AWDS as well) and a controller, but it also says there will be a Smash Bros. Competition, so I say bring yours just in case.

I played you at the Chula Vista mall SSBM tourney, I was the crappy Marth, and my brother was the Link, we sucked back then though.

Preferably ages 12-21 says the flyers. They want the minimum age where you can actually be mature and the maximum age so you can be tried for a felon if you start crap. Makes sense.

And it was postponed until Wednesday at 6:30PM. I found this out the hard, gas-guzzling way. It seems ridiculously late for them to start especially on a work/school/week night, but I might go anyways.

You can kind of tell when tournies will bomb like this. I'm glad i didn't drive 1.5 hours to this just to have it be postponed to wednesday. Really lame.

It's not a tourney. It's a giant gaming fest with all games you can play. It so happens there is a Halo 2, SSBM, and MAdden tourney there.

I wouldn't drive over 30 minutes anywhere just to play videogames...

I wouldn't either. I would only drive more than 30 minute to play videogames + make money + socialize with new people + get more experience in the game.

It just kinda bugs me when things are unorganized like this, its not the direction any "tournies" should be going in. Kinda like that burbank tourney that promised 100 bucks, then on the day of it changed from an SSBM tourney to a Mario baseball tourney, and went from open entry to school district locals only. Its BS when **** like that happens, cuz the organizers think they can do **** on a whim.

That almost happened to me. San Diego EB Games were going to have a Smash Bros. tourney all around. The day of the tourney ALL EB GAmes except the one I went to changed it to Mario Baseball. That's screwed up and horrible to do to those who want to play.

It's a Halo 2 LAN Party, but it's much easier to say tourney.
