I really have no such use for this move, but is there any use for Bowser's dair? I can't seem to find many uses but once I have nailed 35% with it.

There are many uses for this move, mostly used for comboing, I think it plays an important role in bowsers game. You can shffl a dair, then dash forward with a shffled nair. Or, you can use dair to combo into a grab, or d-smash. Invent your own combos, and just experiment. The dair is also EXCELLENT for getting underneath shields. So the next time your opponent is defending, run up with a shffled dair and see what happens :)
Hope I helped.

Ah, but I'd rather run up and Klaw them while they're shielding.

It work.... but then again, what if you daired, THEN ran up and clawed them...?

Umm... the Dair is one of Bowser's worst moves...

Well, you could listen to FastFox or you can listen to me, but ask yourself this: How many Bowser pros have you seen use Down Air in their videos?

Actually I myself never use it, so I'll just stick to shffling, klawing, flame canceling, blah blah.
I use it all the time off the edge and then I safely make it back. Jump off edge, press down on C-Stick, then make it back to ledge.

Been a while...
As I see it there is no use at all for the Down Air. Too laggy, can be shield grabbed, that should be enough to disinterest you. The only way to be good with Bowser is to constantly put yourself in situations that give your opponents THE LEAST AMOUNT OF OPTIONS to beat you. Down air isn't one of them. When I first read this question, I thought to myself, "when IS this move good?" The only thing I came up with is using it when someone is on the rock in that one DK level with all the platforms, and then I thought about it more and of course there are better options than even that, like falling onto the ledge of the rock instead, or bowser bombing onto the ledge instead - remember his ledge game is near broken.

well, if you're on a stage with platforms like battlefield or kirby 64, dair can be used like yoshi's dair to rack up a good 20%+... other than that, if you know the opponent is sweetspotting and your too far away to grab the ledge, dair's landing hit (that oomph when bowser hits the ground) can be used to try and hit..
other than that, stick to nair, as it's a better hitbox and pushes opponents away, as well as being less laggy and comboing nicely into fortress (bowser looks like he just lands and starts spinning):)

That same..*ahem* "oomph" tends to get under shields. It happens quite a bit when I play against bowsers.

What exactly do you mean when you say,"His ledge game is near broken."?

Bowser's dair could be useful, if he didn't have so many other better options, sure its a decent move, but you are looking for the best move to use in a given situation, and its very, VERY rare, that bowser's dair will be your best bet.
