TGA Austin will not Happen

The projected date for TGA in Austin is November 5th, 2005. This is not an official thread for TGA Smash. This date is not official yet.

Well, it's better than nothing. Kinda late tho. I still want to try to find a place where I can host a non-organization-run tournament here. Every other major city in Texas has had one, and I've wanted to run a tourney for awhile. So just a heads up for everyone, I will be looking around for a place to hold a tourney here, (any help would be appreciated) and I'll update if I ever get this idea off the ground.

I think they might have other figher games involved too but who knows. DCX where did you get this date from, did you talk to one of the TGA officers?

Hey, I was talking to DoH on Gamefaqs and he told me that you want to get a match in some time. I'm excited about their being another TGA tourny this year, so I suppose I'll end up playin' you sometime this year .XD

Last year registration was open approximately one month before the tournament date. I got the date for this year's TGA from a TGA officer.

i dont think there is teams but then again i aint sure.

Also dcx, you said in another post that there is a 100 spot limit at TGA......did the officer tell you that too? or is it just speculation?

Teams are great. It'd be awesome if there were teams, but I'm not sure.

He didn't say that there was a 100+ limit, he just sayed that he there was 100+ people at the last TGA.

There is no contestant limit for TGA. Previous TGA Smash tournaments have had teams; I am sure this one will too.

We don't know for sure if there will be teams or not. at the 3CGI event last fall there was a Teams tourney, but the TGA event in April was just 1v1. There will probably be more info as the date approaches.
