i'm thinking about organizing a tournament

and it's going to be in Milwaukee or Chicago...how should i go about organizing it? i mean like i know i'll have singles and doubles and team switch, but what else?

if it's in chicago, i'll be there. there are quite a few chicago players that might go.
anyway, don't say im thinking about holding a tourney because that kind of thread gets closed sometimes. say on it "Tourney in chicago" if your sure you will have one.
then put your singles prices (usually $5 or $10) and your doubles prices (usually $10 or $20 per team) then put the date, exact location, stuff like how many game cubes and TV's you have, what time it starts (usually a saturday at noon), and the prize breakdown (usually 60% to first, 30% to second, and 10% to third)

Where do you live? If you don't live in either Chicago or Milwaukee, then it might get a bit difficult for you to look into places where you can hold a tournament. It might be easier to look into finding some place near where you live.

If you're interested in making a large tournament (i.e. more than just Wisconsin and Illinois), you'll probably need to look into whether you can find a way to provide free housing.

i was kinda busy this weekend..., i worked on friday, i was playing paintball on saturday and sunday, and monday i was with my girl, nursing my injuries and such...i'll try calling today once i get out of school and give the update tomorrow

Yeah dude, I'm sorry I posted like that. I guess I was just angry. I was on the computer and my mom kept coming into my room. She was being SO MEAN because, I stayed home from school today because I was sick. I just wasn't in the mood to hear her yelling at me to pick up my clothes off the floor. I guess I just took it out on you Falco, I'm sorry. But ****it, sometimes she just pisses me off. I gotta log off though, my brother wants to use the computer to do a school project about golden retrievers. And it's Tuesday, which means it's trash night and I have to go around the house and empty the trash bins and eventually take them out to the curb.

So yeah, I wont' have the computer for a few days until I get better. I have to go to the doctor to get a checkup. I hope I don't have strep throat. :( I probably caught it from my boyfriend the other day when we were chillin' at his place. Anyway guys, I'll talk to you later.
