I'm by no means an expert, i'm still working up to being able to beat three lv 9's 3 on 1, but i find a good way to improve with ganondorf is to play coin battle (this is of course if you have to play the CPU because you cannot fight human players because your friends dont even have gamecubes .....grr).
This gets you used to being on the offensive for the entire match and greatly helps you to increase the amount of powerful attacks you use in short spaces of time, since coins you earn are directly proportional to how much damage you cause. It also helps if you set the time very low e.g. 1 or 2 minutes so your full on from the off.
hope this helps other non-experts here. who knows, this might even help the experts when there arent other players around.

good practicing with ganondorf-playing other people, preferrably people better than you.

ugh, first, being able to win 3 computers togheter doesnt make you good.
second, coin match is so diffrent than normal stock match, i think the best is just play normal stock matches with human players.

Tell your friends to buy a GC. It even comes with smash, and it's $100. Tell them to sell eveything they own. No mortgage, no car, tell their parents that they need to relocate to Caprini Green if need be. Just make sure they get a GC, play with them, become awesome, and there you go! Play CPU's isn't very effective unfortunately. You defintely need to get your friends to at least come over more often to play Melee. When you're on your own, at least master WDing, SHFFLing, etc etc...

I didnt say beating 3 comps does make you good. but if you cant beat 3 level 9's, then practice until you can, you've become better havnt you? and if you read the post i did say for when theres no one around. from what i've read on here a generally accepted tactic with ganondorf is to be on the offensive, so for someone who is still improving i.e. for people who will readily admit they arent an expert yet, coin matches help a lot to teach you how to be on the offensive constantly, because you can still win a stock battle when you play defensively, which is harder in coin battle.
its pretty obvious that stock v humans is best but my idea was designed for when there is no one around you with SSBM
If only Angelobangelo, if only...
my ganon is only offensive vs someone who shields alot. maybe thats why he sucks. anyways my ganon philosophy is to take advantages of mistakes, play defensively (but i don't camp.. cause im stupid), bait people into attacking me, and in general be patient with whatever opportunities i get
edit : i only now realized how off topic the above was, so uhhh don't try to beat 3 lvl 9 computers, theres absolutely no point to be able to do so in competitive smash (thats what these boards are for right?). also you have an interesting idea to promote an offensive style, and coming up with new things is always good. if it works for you thats awesome
