Michigan Tournaments

hey anyone know of any "smash fests" going on in michigan? i would be willing to host one and throughout midland and bay city we will have around 25 people... this will not be a small one and will give everyone a chance to see how good they really are and how they match up against people. if you are interested in a tournament here or know of any in michigan please respond to this message.

we would also have a doubles tournament so if you think you and a friend are a good team then come and take on team DECA.. me and my friend call ourselves that... and good luck beating us.. we have not been beaten before... except by one chinese kid who was jiggly puff and that was the gayest match ever seen so i dont count that. and the tournaments... if people agree to it and we have enough, will cost money to enter and have cash prizes for first through third place! i'm not generally online but my aim name is AcroDeca. if you dont see me on then call me.. 989-859-3599

If you can guarantee that 25+ people will be at one of your tournaments, some of us down in SE MI would be willing to make the trip. What would you have as the entry fees and prize distribution? Also, we could hook you up with good rulesets.

"Smashfests" are really just when a few of us get together and smash at someone's house, usually with no money involved. If people want to do a few money matches or something though, then that is fine. We usually play like once a week.

Last thing, instead of making new topics, feel free to post in the MI Discussion Topic.

we will decide the rules.. we're hosts.. it'll be no items five stock at a few good levels.. anyone interested? with 25 people or so we'll prolly pay 3 bucks a person for each type of tournament.. maybe five dollars a team for the doubles. the cash will mostly be paid out to the top teams or players. uh yea maybe we can just have it at someone's house.. i'm not sure what we're doing yet but we'll figure it out when i figure out how many people are coming

Well DECA is where its at trust me ive played them. But im one of the four but Team DECA is acro and shibby trust me you will lose no one in a 50 mile radius can touch us so far. So i cant wait for some challenge but DECA will figure it out soon and keep you all updated if you need to get a hold of me you can IM me at ( Ghstnnoobs )... but for up to date things talk to acro.... :laugh:

alright i'll host a tourny.. 5 bucks for singles and 10 for teams.. that work? the place will be my house unless we get too many rsvp's and then it may have to be changed cause i dont know how many will fit in my basement! it will be on a saturday.. if it must be after the 25th then how bout the sixteen of october. that way its not RIGHT after the cyber tech tourny. we have probably ten good people from midland and i'm sure bay city would come with 4.. i dont want much more than twenty people in my house so if we get more than 25 then i'm gonna find somewhere else to do it.. but if your interested then email me at joshackerman@delta.edu i'll post the time and all final stuff later when it gets closer to the date.

October 16? Count me in. We Bay City Smashers have no credibility whatsoever, and will probably get creamed, but it should be lots of fun. Maybe even a money match or two, we'll see how things go.

i meant the fifteenth of october.. sorry i miscalculated the days lol i wanna have it exactly 2 weeks after the cyber tech plus one. that way we get a break between tournaments and it gives me 2 weeks to heal and learn from my mistakes i'll undoubtedly make at cyber tech.
