My Bowser stinks, how do I play against a good Peach? I always get smacked around by her d-smash...

I'm not a Bowser player, but I do have some advice for you:
Whenever you get close to Peach, hold B and do loads of damage. She'll have to attack you from above. When she does, shield-grab her, throw her, and follow-up with some kind of aerial attack. If you do this, she won't be able to D-Smash you anymore.
If she ever tries Side+B immediately press Down+B towards her and you'll get her everytime. That move has a lot of delay if you she misses.

yea u may want to refrain from usin the down b unless your doin it on to the ledge, also the flamce cancel helps but isnt gonna stop her **** for she ussually approaches with a turnip and that will hit u out of your flame cancel and allow her to also follow up with an attack.
I figured the best approach was a slow, alert approach. Try to read Peach, and expect what she's going to do.

Do all aerials into uptilt and edgeguard her with the bowser bomb. if you miss with the bowser bomb you should hit her with the less than 100% bowser getup, and she should get hit back off the level. You can go from there. Her horizontal recovery isn't that great, this is why bomb works. It's her up/down recovery that is tricky, and you overcome it with this move, plus what peach do you know is going to risk a life trying to beat you to the edge if you are in the middle of a bowser bomb... NOBODY knows the timing of it, not even me. If you gave me the controller and had me coming back with peach and gave HoChiMihn the Bowser and he Bowser Bombed to edgeguard me - a little BEFORE he should mind you, don't ever try to have perfect timing with it, you want to set the tone with this move - I'd never know the timing to drop down and ledgegrab him to make him suicide.

YOU are hopeless, lazy, AND stupid. Did you just think that up? Peach is a LOT faster than Bowser, so you're strategy is not very possible. If you're talking about computers, you don't have to say another word. Too many people have outgrown them, therefor computers suck. A pro Peach can really give Bowser a hard time, she's extremely powerful and fast.

Sir slash, while i must appreciate your name, assuming you got it from CT, I do NOT appreciate what you are saying about bowser vs peach. Your advice is INCREDIBLY noobish, i'm not trying to be rude and i'm not attacking you or anything, its just your advice is horribly general and not useful.
It was pretty much 'hit her and dodge her hits' but you spruced it up a bit... but not really that much at all...
Just think more about vs pros, not vs your n00b friends or comps.

ANYWAY, back to the current topic. Bowser has nothing on Peach in SSBM. She can just keep pressing the attack on him. The only thing that bowser has on her is power, and his attacks are not very good at comboing, so all he'll get in is one goodswipe and that is it.

You should try to trick her into rolloing toward you thinking to use the D-smash, and then use the whirling fortress. It should send her high enough for you to continue attackng from below.
But be careful not to overdo it or the other player will catch on and stop getting close to you
Also, your attacks reach farther so try to keep her away so she doesn't get a chance to counter

sir slash, you're getting off to something else now. Do you have any backround knowledge of a good Bowser vs. a good Peach? In my personal experience, not letting Peach attack isn't very possible; she's a lot faster than Bowser. Sorry if I got the wrong idea, though.
In conclusion, Gimpy > sir slash

sorry for going out on a tangent like that haha
Peach has got arials that rival yours to say the least, so make sure you watch out and mix up your mindgames, at higher percentages she will probably go for the slap shieldgrab, so be on guard for that with the occasional klaw, dont spam that, or it'll be a spotdodged dsmash for bowser, and hes not a fan...
If its a Dsmash spammer your worried about, attack from the air a lot, if she spotdodges, flamebreath, if she shieldgrabs, klaw, just dont be to predicatable...
Those turnips can also be troublesome for such a big target, catch em if you can, but they aren't as useful in bowser's slow throwing arm haha...
Another big problem is shes a little tougher to edgeguard than most people that bowser gets off the edge... and by a little tougher i mean a LOT tougher, just try to get in a good fair or bair every so often if shes floating...
Also, if shes float cancelling her arials, shieldfortress them, your grab isn't fast enough to get through a float cancel (4 frames yeah?) and the fortress will do nicely, its also a nice kill move because it kills her straight up, not giving her a chance to use her ridiculous recovery.
Thats pretty much all i got for now, feel free to PM me if necessary to have more tips, a friend of mine is a good peach player so i should have some more advice for you if you need it.

oh come on, peach isn't a LOT faster than bowser... with proper execution in fastfalling, L-cancels, and the right move choices, bowser is only maybe slightly slower, something that can be worked around
never catch turnips with bowser, all it does is disable your A moves for throwing the **** turnip. all my other good advice has already been touched upon, so i'll leave it at that:)
I don't think he meant to use "a lot" that strongly.

If she comes from above, use up-smash. If she come from in front, use the B-firebreath move. If she comes from below ( like if you're in the air and she trys to stab you with her parasol), use Down-B to sit on her :chuckle: Hope it helps! (If it doesn't, blame my brother) :laugh:
