Doc may not be close to top tier, but the audience loves the s-word out of him anyway. I must get at least one chant on average during a fight, often many more.

What's crazier is that most of the time I don't even have to do much to get the cheers. I've gotten them for throws, upB's and even when getting KO'd myself. Just last night I was playing and I made a recovery that wasn't that great plus I didn't even hit anyone, and the audience still started to go nuts.

What's more is that they don't do the average 3-4 cheers either. There's usually 8 or so Go Doc!s before they stop.

Is it just me that experiences this?

Is it because I'm the undisputed master of the universe?

Or is Doc just so flat-out wicked that not even a computer-generated audience can deny his godliness?

Doc is w/out a doubt the undisputed crowd fav of smash lol not really but it's nice to dream.

Doc definitely pwns. His b-air rox for edge-guarding fox/falco. Critics just know these things. And BTW, what does "pwn" mean anyway?

i mean, seriously...no johns to all the other characters...but if you tried to imagine the coolest possible thing ever..and then added all the coolness of the other 25 characters..you would still not rack up an iota of recognizable percent of the coolness of Doc's cool.

Anyone else notice that you can cancel doc's running a into a grab? It only slows things a few frames but it makes him scream out 'WOOOHOOOO' as he clutches desperately at the air. It's particularly hilarious when he does this at peach, who rolls out of the way and looks at him in disgust.
