Bowser VS. M2

How does bowser combat m2? This, to me, seems like a really bad matchup. From the m2 players perspective, after playing against some **** fine bowser's (MagnuM, his apprentice FalseFox) all I see is a giant hitbox that eats nair, tap a, and throws, not to mention being rather outranged. Any thoughts from the bowser community?

prob cause there are no good m2's in canada :P or good anythings for that matter but yea M2 actually has the advantage with his crazy asss comboz, oh the MookieRah has shown me this, but overall bowser still has more decent matchups than m2.

Yeah, Mewtwo pwns up against Bowser, but Bowser is a better character. Bowser is just ridiculously easy to combo with Mewtwo and even things that don't normally combo will combo on bowser due to his size. There are a few things that get Mewtwo though. The fortress works to some degree (although I don't know how many fortresses of Luke's and Arash's that I canceled through nair and other attacks before I actually got hit) and the forward B works if the Mewtwo is too reliant on shield grabbing. I actually don't know what effective means Bowser has to take out a Mewtwo cause it seems that Luke and Arash just kept trying new **** every match I had with them. Towards the end they would play more defensive, and Arash kept hanging on the ledge and attacking with Bowser's uber ledge attack.

I concur with anyone who says M2 pwns Bowser. It hurts so bad. Projectiles + Shadow Ball Charge = cheap **** on Bowser, not to mention the comboing possibilities M2 can serve - hell, he doesn't have have to try and aim! If you want proof this matchup sucks for Bowser (or a general vid of me sucking), try your luck and search for:

Quetzalcoatl (Mewtwo) vs. CAOTIC (Bowser)

on the DC++ hub. You guys might have too much luck though, cus I renamed it "****." Better to ask some fellow Aussie Smashers or hit me up on AIM.

mookierah is right; if it wasn't for pokemon stadium's earth stage and the invincible ledge attack i woulda lost.. mewtwo's fair comes out faster than bowser's, and fortress gets punished easily

though, m2 dies almost as easily as game and watch. almost....

Quetz has an awsome Mewtwo Cao, and you got served in that vid. But I thought you said that you did way better in your other matches against him. And i will agree in saying that M2 beats bowser

There truely is only so much a bowser could do. Even if he spammed the most effective attacks it still doesn't take away the fact that one dtilt from Mewtwo means about a ton of damage to Bowser a large chunk of the time. Keep in mind, I don't have much of any Bowser experience. So far I have had around 10 matches total against good bowsers with my Mewtwo(about 5 from Durigo, 3 from Luke, and 2 from Arash). So I am sure there are even more things that Mewtwo can exploit to mess up Bowser, and prolly more things than an a Mewtwo experienced Bowser could do.

A fortress landed at high percent can kill him pretty easily, and a fair can if it's close to the edge. The other quick kills would be upair and upsmash, but those would be rather hard to land on a good Mewtwo. I don't know how easily G&W dies to Bowser, but I don't remember dieing much at all at a somewhat low percent. I think I managed to survive as long as I usually do which is generally anywhere from 130-150% about 75% of my stocks.

Still, Bowser is a much better character than Mewtwo. This is just one of the few good matchups for Mewtwo out there.
