Seriously, I think uptilt comes out fast... during tourneys all I do is uptilt after a fair, and if I miss or it's blocked THEN I retreat with the fortess and reset my attack/mind games.

I have a great tip. I play as luigi all the time i am pretty good with him then i realized that i am better with peach. The other day and fought against a luigi that my buddy played as. It is as simple as this, learn how to play as luigi not great if u dont want to but learn all of his moves, how fast they are, what types of moves, and learn the whole aspect of luigi and try to learn how your bro plays him, like does he jump a lot or wavedash or only use hard hits what ever. Then take that knowledge and use it against him, it should be a guaranteed win if u do a thurough investagation. Also try to be more defensive, like not moving, stand still forcing him to come to u. U r so big that u r a easy target so wait for him to come to u then attack with simple moves, be defensive not offensive thats what i have learned playing against great players. TRUST ME IT WORKS GREAT!!!!!

No... I dont think Bowser should be played defensively. His huge size and laggy sheild(not unless if you fortress your way out) just makes it worst for him to defend. He can take a lot of damage so why not be reckless and do an eye for an eye thing (assuming that bowser will have like 100 eyes and luigi only have 25)

Utilt comes out fast. It's just that if I missed, i'm pretty much screwed. It's pretty laggy IMO

Keep in mind what nice things luigi has against Bowser.
good players grab Bowser alot. what I would do with luigi here is WD a lot to avoid that painful fair and grab. also luigis dsmash, if blocked, sends luigi away due to his traction. it´s not too hard to just WD in and smash or grab.

I do agree that this should be at least even matchup.
oh btw. firepunch is good against Bowser.

edit: oh and if the luigi player starts jumping when bowser is on the ground, you should be able to rape him.

yea bowser cant take a lot of damage although he may look it, ganon yes, bowser no, u do have to play defensively a lot in order to survive.

Wull, I think Bowser stands a fine chance against Luigi but I think Luigi is being highly underestimated in this thread (possibly thanks to nobody really playing him any more).

Best combo I've gotten on Luigi with Bowser... Was umm.. Forwardsmash (nothing combos Luigi). Best combo I've gotten on Bowser with Luigi was something in the realm of 70%.

It involved uptilt.

The match is even, my opinion. If not, it's in Luigi's favor. I guess I would be more motivated to detail if SmashBoards didn't suck so much lately. >_<
