I'm gonna try to give some advice concerning your Doc since I play Doc, and I did not pay too much attention to the Mario. By no means am I a Doc expert, but you said be ready to comment if you download, and I downloaded; thus I am attempting to make this a worthwhile post.
-I could see your fair's coming a mile away. You would full jump towards the opponent and I would think, "Here it comes." Although you landed some nice ones coming up from the ledge and such, I feel you attempted a few to many considering your success rate. The ones you missed seemed to open up nice smash opportunities for the opponent.
-Better use of bair. In the first half, I noticed some of your combo opportunities were cut short when you could have elongated them with some shffl'ed bair's. However about 2/3 through the match, you really started using them effectively to the point where I almost eradicated this comment. However, one can always progress; and I think that it would be useful to take this into account.
-Nice song.
I only picked up Doc this week, but I hope my comments were of some help to you. If not, well, sorry for making you waste your time reading this post.
Yeah, I normally play Ness (duh), and his Fair is one of his most spammed moves. Force of habit I guess. I'll get over it.

First off, you're using too many full jumps with Doc. This is a character that needs to stay close to the ground throughout most of a match or else he gets pwnd. An exception to this come into play with the pill though. For instance, instead jumping up and pilling like you were, try a shorthop pill, followed by a full jump pill and both should reach the other character around the same time, and Doc can usually get there with a move when this happens as well. That's also a good time to use a shffld Fair.
Next, fastfall more.
On your recovery, try avoinding the use of a ledge drop to Fair, as this won't work enough to make it worth it. Notice how the only time it worked was when the Mario F-smashed. This lag made an exception to use the super punch, but try WDing once you jump from the ledge instead.
However, the biggest flaw is that the only time you used your cape in the whole match was to recover! Ouch man! This is Doc's key tool. It's a great retalition from an advancing enemy, an awesome defence when you're falling towards the stage and it's even better to edgeguard with. Try throwing the cape in to start off combos as well, or to send a projectile back at your enemy as you advance on them. There's so many great uses for this move that your Doc will easily destroy that Mario if you learn to throw it in there more often.
I enjoyed that battle though, good show.
I've gotten the cape to work against Mario when edgeguarding, very effective! I just can't react quick enough to set myself up for it. I'll take your advice into concideration though, I vastly appreciate it.

I'm an amatuer Doc player such as yourself and I say we would have an even battle if we played. I have only one tip, but its VITAL. I screw up on this also: DON'T WASTE YOUR DOUBLE JUMP. Dr Mario has horrible recovery and it doesn't help if you uselessely disable yourself. That's it.

None taken, I'm ready to take critisism whenever haha.
I've really only been playing the game in general since I started posting here. Plus my Doc is like a week old. I'll figure it out sooner or later.

I would say overall not bad, but the other's above really hit the nail on the head, you werent shffling bairs enough, and your shffl'ed and ledge fairs, and nairs were repetitive giving the opponent a shield grab or smash opportunity, if you find yourself performing the shffl'ed nair and he's blocking try giving him a neutral A punch to keep him from grabbing you. Also only full jump when you need to, like when he is high in the air. Try practicing bair's of the edge they work pretty well against marios and docs. I'd say you were the best "rate me doc" post I have seen in a while. I like how you utilized the dash dance slide attack, but dont use it too much. I also saw some good utilts.

I found that you were rolling too much and you seemed to use the fair way too often. Also, too many full jumps and no cape! What's up with that? You could also use more bairs and when ledge hopping, use the uair instead of the fair. The fair has way to much wind-up time to be an effective ledge hopping move. Learn to pillrush well. The whole full jump pill didn't really work as effective as a short-hopped, fast falled pill. Overall, It's an ok Doc, but I tend to be more generous than others at rating...
