SOHO Smashfest - David Kirk presents

As of now with school soon to be starting for some, and whatever else going on with others, I am not exactly sure of a date. My thoughts were focused around the weekend of the 27/28th of August or the first weekend of September, which would be the 3/4th. Any input on who can make what would be greatly appreciated, as it will most likely directly affect the date situation.

Anyway, address, phone number, and all that good stuff. If anyone has any direction questions or wants a driving time frame, feel free to ask. MapQuest has gotten it's fair share of people lost traveling around this area, especially to or from Oxford, but it really is not that hard. If online directions seem off, just post.

I recently picked up a new cell phone since my other one was going through some crazy problems so it should be good, but just in case the house number is up there just in case. If you want to get a hold of me please try my cell first, though.

On a side note, I now own a copy of the game, and at the moment have a GCN set up and two TVs which can be used. Anyone that is willing to bring any set ups or anything down get first dibs on the couches. There is room for mass people to post up on, but you know.

Basically now I am just looking for date and interest feedback. Holla at me.

Although if more Ohio players can give positive feedback I would prefer to go with the date which could accommodate more so for them. I am currently unaware of Ohio Smashers attending those events, but if so/other conflicts the date is nothing stable now...

vidjo told me it would be cool if we came this weekend, but i didn't know about this topic. The 19th is this friday i think thats probably too short of notice for others. Pretty much any date should be fine by us...unless I get that elusive job...But we definitely wanna come down on a friday so we can hit up game junkie...and they better have JSS.

Yes, please do bring set-ups and TVs. I have two TVs and one unreliable set-up so more would be appreciated.

Anyone who wants to crash here is welcome too. Please bring pillows/blankets/teddy bears/etc. for yourself.

Thanks David, yeah i am most likely going to this and I already got directions to your house from mapquest. I'll probably come at around 9:00 PM and I can bring a gamecube memory card etc. However, I don't have an RFU adapter, so getting it hooked up to a tv might be tricky...
Anyways, looking forward to this as I have been training like crazy all summer.
