Uh, no. If you manage to get them in your mouth while off the edge, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD MAN, KEEP THEM IN THERE! You're much better off that way.

Few things are funnier then sucking up someone with a hammer. It's made funnier by how the hammer music keeps playing while Kirby has them in his mouth.
Also, something I noticed about Kirby's inhale suicide, is that the person you suck up actually dies before Kirby sometimes. I've done it on many stages in single player, and lived after doing it. I wonder what determines that...

Essentially, you can survive it with any character, it's just that the interval for you to be able to jump and live gets shorter as the character becomes smaller. This is why it's easy with Ganon, but harder with, say, Pikachu. It's been known for a fairly long time however.

I've been waiting for someone to mention that. Certain characters will always die first. I use it against sometimes against people in tournaments. It is an instant kill at no matter what percent, and you can time it correctly to survive it yourself. That is why I never consider Kirby's inhale suicide a suicide. I refer to it as an instant kill. If you play foolishly on the edge against me, you may regret it.
With the inhale, if the person breaks out first, they will more than likely die. During the air-break-out, Kirby stays at relatively the same height while the person that broke out will fall at normal speed, making this almost always a kill before your opponent can even do anything. You should always survive, seeing as you should be close to the edge and have all five jumps back. If they don't break out, they will die, and you have a chance to survive. Getting back up on Final Destination is possible, but you need to time your jumps right and hope no one is edgehogging.
This works on a lot of characters. I should go test it with everyone, but I know, for a fact, off the top of my head, that Bowser, DK, Marth, and Falcon will die first if there is no break out.

Well actually...See you swallow them and let them get out...while your falling...don't swallow because then they'll shoot upward..and grab on the ledge..sometimes they get out early

I've done that move before. It's very risky business

Ok First Of All Thats not really a new move..
And Second alot of people do that
And if you wanna escape it you jump with the character your using and grab kirby and bring him down with you! SO he dies with you! And then the human player who does that (computers never do that!) they will get angry cause you figured out how to get out of there move, and then they will stop probably..so just do tthat to save yourself
Third Nice try! It usually works for a computer though

Yet another way for Kirby to go kamakaze....

Uh... I still don't understand your escape method. Plus, whenever I get you in the inhale, you have to break out of the inhale before you can do anything else. Then, when you break out, you keep on falling whilst you are in the break out animation, while Kirby is still in the same spot. Usually you are dead before you regain control, and I am back on the stage.
Also, if I ever attempt that move, my goal is not necessarily to keep myself alive, but to kill my opponent. So, even if you suicide with me, you accomplish my goal.
And, remember, the inhale is not a kamikaze move. It is only a kamikaze move if the Kirby player mistimes his jump after the opponent gets killed (assuming there was no break out).

Sorry, I do not have DC++ (though I should get it), so there I have no need for you to make a video.
Wait, are you talking about the technique no one should do anyway (the first one in the thread), or the idea of not spitting them out? That may be the reason why I don't understand this idea you speak of.

Ok Personally My Idea (It Works I Tried It Out) Is That When The Person Tried To That G** Kirby Move
THey Spit you out and fly up you grab them and throw them down! But you can't make it back..but still They die after you!
DeathscytheHello
08-05-2005, 10:45 PM
Alright, thank you. The one I was thinking of was the one I use- don't spit them out or copy. Just leave them in you. If inhaled at ground level, the person is more than likely going to die, even with a break out. Why? The break out, for some reason, makes it so that the opponent continues falling at their speed while Kirby remains at the point where the person escaped. If you don't break out, you still die, but you also increase the chances of Kirby dying also.

Just smack them off the edge with a charged smash, then go up and kick them in the air.
