Hey guys, I guess im kinda a newbie in here, but i have owned and played SSBM since it came out and i have been playing it more than any of my other GC games, I'm a huge LUIGI fan and I rarely use any other characters. Now I would like to know, is there any website or place where i could find some vids or tutorials on some of these moves, im sure i might know what they are.....im pretty sure i know how to do them but im confused on what a wave dash looks like....again sorry for the newb, question...

The wavedash looks 'n sounds different depending on how you did it.
If you do a "full" wavedash(y-to-L+downwards diagonal, almost horizontal tilt), you may just slide without making a noise, and you'll slide faster and farther than any other type of wavedash.
The other extreme's a shorter, slower wavedash, which is borderline triangle jump, but you still slide a ways.
Master Luigi's. It's extremely useful, and one of the easiest, IMO.
To get the timing perfectly for wavedashing, watch your character when you do it. This lets you get a better feel for how fast they jump, so you'll know exactly when to tap L+tilt.
Practice TAPPING L or R when you do it, that way you can quickly do other moves from it.
[EDIT]: Oh yeah, and I think Luigi only doesn't make a noise when you fall into a wavedash instead of short-hop. The falling wavedash's usually much longer than a SH'd one.

ok what im doing when im pressing the buttons is Luigi freezes and kinda has a faded look, and instantly moves a bit from where he was....and makes some kinda of yell. Thanks for the help so far, its just hard to tell with the terms....i never really knew that some of the moves had technical names...lol.

From what you said you have done it sounds like you have air dodged. That can happen if you don't get the timing right for the wavedash. Keep on practicing, if you get it right Luigi shoulden't leave the ground.
Oh and instead of Y to L you could use the X button, or use the R button. Like when I wavedash I do X to R. What ever combanation feels comfortable.

that would be great to have Gojira, it's sometimes hard to understand about what some people are saying, unless I see some pics or a clear explanation of what the moves are.....oh well.....I guess we can't win them all......lol

I think there is a decent one on GameFAQs. Try there.
