There's an EB by me that is having a tournament in August, I can't go that month but sometime in September (assuming my daughter isn't born too early!) would be a good to arrange a match with some of you guys.

My friend Karl and I wanna have a Smash Tournament (hold one, or attend one) before he moves to San Francisco... Hopefully I can play him online on Revolution before I move with him next year.

Smash Brothers is a serious game for serious people/.

you dont need a game place to host a tourny, just host one yourself. I know i'd come to a tourney if it was hosted around San Diego and that'd be 5 ppl(including myself) for my crew. Just make a where and when and i'm sure that people will show

I'm still in Virginia right now but I'll be home in San Diego in two weeks. If there's a tournament in September, be sure to post the possibility here ahead of time. That way I can bring a TV and Cube to whoever is hosting it.

It was a free for all 5 stock on Hyrule temple. 4 brackets and winning 2 advance.

I beat my bro twice for us to make it to the finals, but then lost to him in the end and came in 2nd.

You all are pretty much around where I live and I got about 5 people in the crew we are all pretty decent but we are looking for more competition to improve. Maybe we all can go to an internet cafe and hook up like 5 cubes. we just need a date

The only snag is that my wife is due any day now, so it could be a month or two from now before this is possible UNLESS we had a get-together on say, September 9th, 10th, or 11th, assuming she doesn't go into labor!

If someone holds a tournament the last week of September I could possibly be down for that. My second daughter was just born on the 9th, so we'll see how things go. I will check with the wife to see if sometime in the aforementioned last week of September I could have a few people over for a small get-together, not a tournament.

I got a location!

in addition to our house, my family owns a small town home a block away. normally we rent it out to tenants, but just last week the tenant moved out. my mom has said that we can use the town home to host a tournament as long as we don't make a mess of things.

It’s in Rancho Bernardo, not too far away for most of you guys i hope. Ive never hosted or been to a tournament before, but I am really eager to play some new people, learn new things about the game, and just have a good time. Any advice or tips on anything tournament related would greatly help :]

To start, I am going to go to the morse high school tournament and get a feel for how things are. In the meantime, I need help/advice for tournament set up, and thin of a time and date this would be best on!

For tips on how to host a tourney for the rules go to mlgpro.com.
But the main thing that attracts people is the prize money so be sure to have a small entry fee and the 1st 2nd and 3rd place winner gets a cut of the entry fee.
