Bowser vs. Mario

My friend uses Bowser and I use Mario. Any tips I can give him? He gets really down when he loses everytime. He has no internet right now, so I have to ask for him.

f-tilt is very good for edge gaurding, tell him to aimz it down --;

Also, tell him to do up+B out of a shield to break up Mario's close-combat pressure. (that is, if he doesn't do it already)
Mario isn't too hard to edgeguard against as Bowser, and like what was just said, ftilt rocks against Mario.

Bowser should beat Mario, and all the mario characters for that matter.

Have him intercept you when you are off the level with a fair.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think you asking this question for him will help much. I mean any answers you get, no matter how useful; won't do much because you're gonna know these strategies too, since you're doing the asking for him. You'll have time to figure out ways to counter your friend's new Bowser strats almost before you even give him this information or whatever. Maybe it's just me though...

Mario and Luigi and Doc don't fast fall fast enough into an Lcancel to really combat the shield into fortress, Bowser's Fair is better than anything else they have in the air, and that's pretty much all there is to it.

If it ever comes down to me playing a Bowser in a tourney (Trail maybe) I will just Bowser ditto him and F smash him for the win. ;)

Tell your friend to give up on Bowser... Its not worth the effort to tell you the truth. He'll still lose every battle...

I would have to say that out of the three luigi, doc, and mario, the doc gives me the most trouble. As i said before I dont know why it is just doc.... This is why i need videos of how to fight the chump. I always struggle when fighting the doc....dont know why.

I'm going to second Luke's comment on Pronstar.
Did you see anything he said before? They all work beautifully, and really, Bowser's a much more simple character than you might think. A few moves will really devastate Mario Bros., if you use them properly. Like the tilts...

I third Luke's comment - Pronstar = pwned. It's just too easy for the Mario characters to die to single Bowser attacks. Mario can juggle Bowser all over the stage, but all it takes to the put the match in Bowser's favour is one nice simple ftilt/fair/bair etc. It does not take much to give Bowser his room to do so. Mario/Doc is easily one of Bowser's more favourable matchups.
