How many official Roy's are there?

Outside of Neo and Rebel, is there anyone else who uses Roy in tournies? (Myself included when I finally get the chance to go to a big one.)

I can bet you can count them all on one hand.

neo uses marth/sheik in tournies when he plays anyone close to his skill level.

at least thats what Ive seen. I dont think its accurate to call someone an official anything if they only use that character in a tourney against someone they know they can beat easily.

Neo uses those characters at random. He uses Roy against those same people. So he is an "official" Roy. I definetely use Roy in tournaments but I use other characters too. Like in one matchup I just used Marth and than Fox. In another one I didn't want to use Roy because the other guy brought out a Falco immediately and due to the rules, I couldn't bring him out second match when I had lost because he could have stayed with Falco and destroyed my Roy. So then I beat him with a different character and since I'd have to pick my character first, I still couldn't use Roy. I wouldn't say that you should use only one character.

It is quite a good thing to be good with almost everyone. Such as in that match I mentioned earlier where I used Fox and Marth, I was facing a Samus. I was easily able to pick characters good against his specific character choice because he couldn't play anyone else while I was able to differentiate from Roy and win.

I use Roy and Peach most of the times, so you can count me an official Roy.

I use Roy as my main, but I haven't used him in a tournament match yet; because I just pick a random character to use most of the time. I'll play anyone or any character with Roy though; so you can count me.

i use like... mario, C.Falcon, fox, Sheik... but in tournies, i use marth MAINLY, MOSTLY...
SOMEtimes... VERY rarely, i use Roy... :|

Nevermind -- at MLG Philly, I'm taking in Roy. For some reason, I'm playing horribly with Marth right now (maybe my partners reading me a bit to easy), but my Roy game is still strong. I'll still use Marth for doubles, unless at that point, my Marth's still unplayable (at a tournament level).
