Elegent, awesome fights, guys.
Great vids, I particularly liked the first one, the whole battle was great!
And the 2nd one, well it was good... Still I liked the ending d^_^b...

The first match was "Inner Universe" from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex OST.
Thanks for the comments peeps.

Shweet! Inner Universe from Ghost in the Shell?! I can already tell these vids will pwn. I'm already a fan of TT, having used Ganon as my main since I unlocked him, but I may be tempted to pick up Marth from what I've heard of your skillz, Syn.

Just finished watching them, really great stuff. I'm definitely gonna practice Marth more often, but I'm further inspired to use Ganon. Very sexy use of the jab and smashes, TT, somethings I don't do nearly enough of. One thing tho, in the first match, when you were recovering from beneath the stage, you up B'd toward the stage instead of away from it. I know Ganon gets edgeguarded like a ***** by Marth, but I'm pretty sure when you up B away from the edge you can catch it without him flipping forward to catch it, almost sweet spotting it. But meh, what do I know.

Good fights, good fights... Constructive criticism time :D
TT's Ganon played in a very straightforward manner. While this means that he didn't go around trying ridiculous crap, it also meant that he was kind of easy to read. Rarely used anything except jump, double jump, aerial... got kind of predictable. Halfway through match 1 and all the way through the second I could tell when he was going to down+b. Also used a lot of rolling when it wasn't really necessary. I mean, there often times wasn't even the threat of an attack to avoid and he rolled TOWARDS Syn's Marth. Maybe I'm just jaded from being owned one too many times after trying that, but it's super easy to punish and seemed to be a habit he could stand to break.
One thing I DID notice, which may be construed as good or bad, is that while he can more or less do up+a from ledge flawlessly, and ledge-wave-dash beautifully and on command without killing himself, he doesn't use those very frequently. That's good, because when he uses them they are unexpected and useful, but also it seems a little like a waste of his fantastic timing. I dunno.
As for Syn, you have good control over Marth and the matches with your combos and range, something that's tough to achieve on a good Ganon (and I believe TT is a good ganon :P ). What I do notice, however, is that you tended not to take advantage of all your opportunities for grabs, and sometimes I even saw you standing there doing more or less... well, nothing, while Tipman was shielding, or you would make obvious assaults on a shield that gave no payoff (something TT also did quite a bit). You could have stood to wield Marth's grab range with more authority, and you opted for actions that seemed, to me anyhow, riskier and less advantageous.
Like I said though, you guys are good. Better than me certainly. Even when I'm watching vids, even those of players I admire, I try to be dispassionate and look for weaknesses, mostly so I don't wind up committing similar mistakes when I play. Don't get me wrong though; I would definitely quiver to play either of you in a tournament.

Yeah, it was cool to see tipmans ganon at last in battle :D
I liked it and itīs most likely better than my Ganny. here are some suggestions though which worked for me last weekend against other Finnish smashers.
run, press down after dashdance frames and quickly release down and press a for a jab. Nice.
Waveland to jab is also nice.
Your use of aerial combining is something very interesing and inspiring.

Good job guys, very impressive playing. Although both of you are good, I'd have to say that watching Tipman play really inspires me to play Ganon as a secondary. I don't really have any backup characters, just Falcon as a main. Perhaps I will start playing Ganon now.

Well, like everyone already said, great matches.
But there's one thing that bothers me in both matches. TT's Ganon came back really low and then Syn tipper'd him to his death, twice. Where were the techs? You could easily UpB to the ledge and hold L, remember? It works good vs Marth's tipper.
Well, and there were a few other things, but HonorBound actually said it all.
Great stuff, guys, keep it up. ^__^

I definitely agree with the wall teching comment.
Oh, and I'm so sorry I hurt your feelings, Syn *hugs you and gives you a cookie for playing so **** good*. I shoulda explained myself better. You see, I've just recently seen TT's Triforce of Power vid, which got me interested in improving my Ganon (even tho I could never put the G-man down), so I meant finally seeing TT in action was even greater inspiration to keep Ganon as my main. Your Marth was very inspiring indeed, it's just hard to want to use a character I despise so much. Marth gives my Ganon nightmares, Fox too, and Sheik....**** top tiers to hell! They're so tough!

Yo T.T, think you can send me those matches another way aside from Convovideo.com or the Hub. The only place I can see the vidz is at school, and I have to get past that foolish "X-Stop".

lol i know, the main reason i kept coming from the bottom was because i wanted to tech some **** but in those vids i sucked at teching (ive been teching marths and falcos dair from under the stage WOOT-WOOT!). me and syn play every week or so but for hours on hours so in one day our playing style would change alot in one day so ganon vs marth (or atleast me and syn) doesnt look the same often.
mav i got a **** connection its syn uploading the vids, ask him to upload it on yousendit.com and send you a link.

We both reside in the proclaimed "Worst Smash State" -- Florida. South Florida to be more exact. If you're ever around the area let us know. We're currently planning to attend MLG Atlanta, which will be our first out of state tourney. Maybe we can catch you there if you're planning on attending also.
And Tipp's got mad teching skills. He's even tech'd my Marth's Dair spike combos on more than one occasion -_-;
Thanks for the kind words peeps. We're currently planning on putting more vids up. I wanna put up some vids of my Falcon. I need strict criticism with this one because Tipp's Ganon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> my Falcon. I don't even know what to do anymore.

Those are absolutly incredible. Now I know why I like to play as Marth. Personally, the first vid was more exciting IMO. The back and forths between Gannon and Marth were a sight to behold. I also see what people say about Marth and short hopping. It really makes him. I gotta try that more often....Maybe I won't get owned so hard by Juce and Aftermath.

yeah it has been. I haven't seen smash for like months until a couple days ago. I read up about this place exactly like zero ping in boca on federal. I went there, and it's semi hot right now- still new, and there were some peeps on smash. I played for a while, no comp. for you lol. rodin came too and played. In short, that's what brings me back :/ .

You gotta show me that place.
There's also another internet cafe in Delray called "Nexus" that I have to check out, were poeple also play Smash. They even held a tournament last Saturday and Colin won it (******* didn't tell me about it because he said he didn't want me to go, so he could win). This is amazing, there are new Smashers seemingly popping up everywhere around the area lately. My goal of starting a Smash community in Palm Beach may come to fruition yet.

-Its mad expensive imo though.-

Sweet Marth, SyniKal. Moves a lot faster than mine, but then again everyone's does (I like being a turtle). And sweet Ganondorf, Thomas. I'm gonna have to get the second video tomorrow or something though, since my computer's so slow.
Also, good idea using Inner Universe as the battle music, it goes surprisingly well with Smash.
