Kone told me I should make little trailer-esque clips for my tourney and I thought it was a cool idea. For this, I need pics of the top players of Europe. So if you have any, send them to me on MSN (fallenangelii@hotmail.com)(hotmail has a size-cap of 25 megs, so we wouldn't want to clog up my inbox)!

Of course, people from other countries (who plan on coming to RoofSM) are welcome to send in their pics as well :)

[b]EDIT: Since I now have sufficient pics, I've changed the subject of this thread. Download the songs and tell me what you think and also make suggestions of what you'd like to see in the trailer(s).

Yes, pics of actual people :) I'll use potraits to do old school vs. screens (X vs. Y).

And then just montages of random famous European smashers (or in my case infamous >_>).

What I've got so far:

The supertrailer will be approximately 8:20 mins long. It'll be cut up into 4 pieces of about 2 mins long each. All 5 will be put up for download.

So far, the plan is:

1:16 - "At The Beginning" (Richard Marx & Donna Lewis)(YunaMix Shortedit)
A montage of pics from RoS2 and various other tournaments, complete with flags and "versus"-screens. Comments and quotes and such.

followed by...

3:29 - "Evolution" (Super Eurobeat pres. Ayu-ro Mix II)(Time Is Pop Mix/YunaMix Shortedit)
Footage of people playing smash with credits in the form of text and pictures. More quotes, comments, text, etc.

3:30 - "July 1st" (Super Eurobeat pres. Ayu-Ro Mix III)(A Eurobeat Mix/YunaMix Shortedit)
Same as the above. The last 25 seconds will be used up for a humours "credit roll".

Whaddya all think? Comments? Suggestions?

I ran the songs through Qwester and he didn't like At The Beginning, so I've put up an alternative for it. You can download all 4 songs below:

Starts playing. Followed by this text:

"Smash-Europe will never be the same" or something...
Then a montage of Smash footage, real life footage snagged from Bach's RoS2 montage and more quotes and silly messages.

When the song ends, this one will start playing:

I don't like at either of 'em actually, but If I'd have to make a choice, I'd choose the 2nd one. That 3rd and 4th song are better, but not really super either to be honest :ohwell:

Yes. Exactly. Also, the songs rock! A silly and upbeat opening followed by fast-paced Eurobeat pop/rock-ish songs.

Theres nothing rock about them >_>' . Its not my personal taste but the editings cool so I enjoy that ^_^. But as ryan said its yuna's promo vid so its upto him!

It's purpose is to draw attention to his tournament, so therefore he shouldn't have music in it that people despise.

Since the trailer is still in its 0.4 Alpha stage, I can easily throw in new names. :) Also, in order to be in the trailer, you kinda need footage of yourself playing. Do you have that? >_> (captured card or direct feed, not cam).

Try something rock, or songs with a purpose for that matter XD

Yes, I have footage of me playing, i can put it online, do I have to put it online? Oh, it's capture card footage, but i have a really good cam too, it's almost as good as a capture card :)

(I didn't do that bad in teams btw, i was 4th with dave :laugh: )
