Hey what's up everyone I'm new to the forums and was wondering how many people live in MN and play SSBM because I've been in two small tournaments here and got 1st and 2nd in them. I'd love to have new challenges and hold a tournament of my own so if you live here post!

Anyway, I live in MN and I play smash, but I haven't won any tournaments, so you must be better than me. How would you rate yourself in skill from 1-10? I think I'm about a 5. Anyway, absolutely feel free to post in the MN/WI/IA topic that I created. Hopefully we can play sometime.

Edit: If you're hoping to host a tourney, check out the Optimus Prime is Jewish thread in this room. We're looking for maybe a cities locale, and if I'm not mistaken, Savage is near the cities.

Anyways, We'll completely rule... Bluewolf and greenpimp smashed it up for the first time with us the other day, and they're pretty good. You'll have to watch out for the likes of Superdoodleman and myself, though. We're scary. And you'll probably not play MLRS or any of Madison till a larger tourney.... :D. Darkroom is the ph34r 2.

yea i live in buffalo, Minnesota i need to go to some big smash fests or tourneys soon here in minnesota..driving 10 hours for a huge tourney aint really my thing so.....tourney in the cities..someone have one

Me and my friends will most likely have a tournament sometime in aug and we know of at least 50 people that would for sure come so it will be pretty big, when we have more planned for it i'll post more infromation so anyone who's interested can come.

Don't worry about MLRS, he just got out of jail. He's a little pissed about not getting laid, being confined, etc. etc.

If you put a tourney with 50 people together that'd be freakin huge. I'd love to come and play a tourney with you guys. You gotta make sure the rules are acceptable though (no items, neutral stages, etc.) If you have any questions, ask.

I'd love to play for some money too. Ever heard of a money match? Those are pretty fun, even though I've only won one in my entire life. *looks at MLRS*

If you think you have 50 for a tourney, you'll probably have less than that. Just make sure you keep that in mind. If you're going to host a tourney, you should make a thread about it.... but please just for tourneys ;D. Darkroom made the official MN/WI/IOA thread.

I'd suggest makeing a $10 pot for a tourney. There aren't enough people around to make a very large pot with $5 entrance.

i live in southern mn and ive never been to a touney but i have been playing smash since...well....ever. ive been playing since the 64 version and bought melee in the first 1-2 months and ive never stopped playing.
