It seems to me that Mario's drill is much better than Doc's, Brown Mario is able to jump right out of it when he performs it in the air, but every time I use it I am useless and open for attack, when is the best time to use it, or should I not use it at all? I would really like to add it to my game.

As far as statistical factors are concerned, Mario and Doc's ADA are practically the same. Doc's has an extra hit, but Mario's lag is slightly shorter by 1 or 2 frames. Both have the ability to drag opponents into the attack if performed in the air on an aerial opponent (and can lead directly into an AUA while still airborne). Furthermore, Mario's ADA has a special hit when performed on the ground in which a hitbox will hit on both sides of him. There are also times where a hit on a grounded opponent will cause extra horizontal knockback, hitting the opponent beyond standard grab/jab range--whether or not both situations describe the same hit, I'm not sure.

Mario and Doc's multi-hitting ADA is especially useful when trying to avoid juggling. In most cases (though not all) fastfalling an ADA right before you get juggled will prevent you from getting hit by interrupting the opponent's impending attack. When shffl'd, it also works well in shutting down opponent's shffl'd approaches (provided that they don't have uber range like Marth's AFA). Shffl'd ADAs can lead into grabs, jabs, u-tilts, d-smashes. Finally, as stated before, if done in the air, it can drag in aerial opponents and lead to an AUA.

IMO, the best time to use Doc or Mario's ADA is when an opponent is attempting to do an aerial attack or for no lag when landing and what maelstrom218 said, avoid juggling.

the drills are my anti falcon. If the CF like to abuse of the nair all the time, disrupt his game with a full jump dair.

try to L cancel when doing the drill kick in the air that way your not open for an attack.
