Share your up b setup combos/techniques. Preferably ones that will lead to a KO and are fairly reliable.

I like down throw to wavedash back to up b on fast fallers, but they have to not tech though.

This is a very cool topic I think, you just mentioned one of my favorite show of KO techniques.

The other ways to set up for an up B are not as reliable in most cases.

Down B, both hits, followed by Up B.
crazy punches dash attack followed by up B.

And, single punch followed by up B.

The last one is the most useful, and most reliable.

dash attack to up b will only ever work once at best, its too easy to punish that move seeing as the opponent recovers quicker than you do. But I have done it before myself so it definitely works =)

single punch to up b sounds good, i'll have to try that

There are of course other ways of getting the up b such as block an attack then up b from shield, side step a close attack to up b, or block an attack such as marth's fsmash, then wavedash from shield to get close again and up b.

any other setups?

Often after the dash attack there is a slight delay where the opponent can get an attack off. Usually I crouch cancel it and use the up b. Most times I side dodge an attack and either WD behind them or roll behind them to pull it off.

Sorry for the derail.

Take advantage of this move at any point thats possible. There are many people that just don't use it even if it had a 100% chance of hitting. They DON'T think about using it especially when it's an edge we have on others.

When characters are coming back to the stage, it's the safest time to use it.

That's true about when they're coming back to the stage though...cause the move has three frames of invincibility, and it's possible to time it through certain moves. Like Captain Falcon's Falcon Kick from the air when you're on the ground...but that's luck. I could have had that on tape too...if bach would ever come tape a match of mine. :(
