if you tap down on the control stick the whole way, you'll fast fall and hit the ground

what you want to do is tilt the control stick about halfway down, so the dair still registers but you dont fast fall

i think half-tilting the control stick is still easier, same for uairs, but its all preference i guess.

go with whatever feels comfortable.
