Hey I wanted to start a little thread where we can describe moments of pwnage using everyone's favorite plumber. For instance, I would like to know everyone's record for SH b-airs in a row. I literally landed ten on a retarded luigi who apparently has less experience in the area off *** kicking plumbers...also I was just wondering if anyone else uses crouch cancelled smashes with Mario because it works really well. I'm not sure if i'm using the correct terminology, so I'll explain. When you are running you quickly crouch, then c-stick a smash move. I can nail people with down smashes in succession if they are characters who get up slowly *cough* pwnzor's link*cough*. So let's discuss any awesome combos you may have pulled off.

I've had proud moments of four inescapable shffl'ed u-airs on several occasions, following them off the stage into a sex kick with b-air edgeguarding. Works on seemingly all characters, depending only on percent.

I wouldn't just dash into a "crouch cancelled" smash though. (I think referring to it as dash-cancelling would be better, simply because it avoids the confusion of mixing it up with the traditional definition of crouch cancelling) Predictable, but of course in the situation you described, with a Link waking up off the ground, I guess it would be acceptable. Just don't time it poorly and get shield-spun (up+b out of shield). If you're following a roll though, you should be okay. But don't abuse it...

Hmm... I was mighty proud of a very nice d-throw to u-tilt to u-tilt to u-air to n-air. Handy combo, seems to work best on Shiek.

Hey that is a **** good combo, I was trying it out and it works surprisingly well. I just d-throw and up tilt until they get too high then u-air.

Also, I guess I should refer to the technique as dash cancelling, I didn't really know what term to use. I try to keep it unpredictable by sometimes dash cancelling and wavedashing or rolling back so people don't get used to it.
